This Farmer’s Perspective on GMOs
by Eric on November 19, 2011 http://www.sonofafarmer.com / ..Genetically-modified organisms (GMOs) run rampant like a plague, spreading poisonous genes into food and fiber crops, livestock, wildlife, insects, birds, the soil, and unsuspecting people. We are what we eat, and we are eating toxic unnatural food contrived in laboratories by billion-dollar chemical companies. Ninety percent of American corn, cotton, canola, soybeans, and sugar beets are genetically modified today. Eighty percent of all processed foods on our grocery shelves are made with GM ingredients. Livestock are fed primarily with genetically-modified feed in feed lots and factory farms, and those malnourished, sickened cattle, pigs, and chickens are the chief source of our protein.... More alarming, studies are beginning to suggest the harmful effects of genetically-modified foods on the body and mind, such as higher rates of cancer and diabetes. Neurological disorders such as autism have risen 1200% in children since 1990. Although that rate has not yet been linked directly to GMOs, there is more than enough evidence of the threat they pose to our nation’s health and welfare.... About 50 countries have banned GMOs or required their labeling. Our country has done neither. We are poisoning ourselves. This is a slow, sluggish genocide on the American people. I, like many Americans, have to wonder is the payoff from these chemical companies so tempting that our government would rather poison its own people than provide a simple label? .......... For some of us that have known about this "plague" for years this farmer is preaching to the choir, but if this is new to you and/or shows a more urgent call and doesn't get you to thinking about what we are eating for profits sake then I don't understand your views. I urge everyone to read the full article. I know the wife of a farmer who is a hair stylist and she had told me he had been "losing" his mindset at times and stumbling when he walked. She said he was in his early 50's so it wasn't "old age". I asked her if he had worked around Monsanto seed and she told me he had sold it for years and also used it around the farm. She said she had heard something about it causing neurological issues but they had only been to their family doctor about his problems. I encouraged her to have her husband see a neurologist. I don't know what the outcome was but it would come as no surprise to me if he did have issues from being around the seed and the dust so much. This is very important! As we all know yesterday when we said thanks for all our blessings the one you can't "buy" is your health and that goes for the 1% too! ![]()

a frickin crony of the rich. He and his pitiful family show just how far from the hopes and vision of our founding Fathers one can get! He thinks, as do most of his ilk, that quality schools, security of home and health, and quality of life should be only kept for those who can afford it! What a sick, greedy, elitist Smuck! He does not have a SOUL!

Here is another article that states that Neotame is likely more toxic than Aspartame same or not....
Neotame, New Neurotoxic Sweetener: FDA Says No Label Needed, Not Even in Organics
A Monsanto-created chemical, Neotame is likely more toxic than Aspartame. The FDA has quietly decided that we don't have the right to know if it's adulterating our food, not even if the food is labeled USDA Organic. by Heidi Stevenson 2 January 2011 ![]() http://www.gaia-health.com/articles351/000... Aspartame can step aside. There's a new sweetener in town and it isn't saddled with the inconvenience of having to be listed on labels, so it can be sneaked into any prepared food, even USDA so-called Organic. So sayeth the FDA. Neotame is a Monsanto-created chemical similar to Aspartame, including its neurotoxic properties. Monsanto developed Neotame as their Aspartame patent was expiring, and had no trouble in gaining FDA approval in 2002. They added 3-dimethylbutyl, a chemical listed as hazardous by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), to Aspartame, making it both sweeter and more toxic. (more at link) ........... With the name Monsanto on this "creation" I tend to believe this article!

that taught my nursing class who was a member of the original testing of aspartame and she made the entire class swear they would tell everyone NOT to use it in any form! Well now we have a new way of hiding it along with the Amino Sweet - it is called Neotame:
USDA Certified Organic’s Dirty Little Secret: Neotame By Barbara H. Peterson http://farmwars.info/?p=4897 Farm Wars Just when we thought that buying “Organic” was safe, we run headlong into the deliberate poisoning of our organic food supply by the FDA in collusion with none other than the folks who brought us Aspartame. NutraSweet, a former Monsanto asset, has developed a new and improved version of this neurotoxin called Neotame. Neotame has similar structure to aspartame — except that, from it’s structure, appears to be even more toxic than aspartame. This potential increase in toxicity will make up for the fact that less will be used in diet drinks. Like aspartame, some of the concerns include gradual neurotoxic and immunotoxic damage from the combination of the formaldehyde metabolite (which is toxic at extremely low doses) and the excitotoxic amino acid. (Holisticmed.com) But surely, this product would be labeled! NOT SO!!! For this little gem, no labeling required. And it is even included in USDA Certified Organic food. (more at link) ........... Will it ever stop?

NYPD not letting them in as of 11:11 am Nov. 15, 2011 - Another hearing to be completed soon around 11:30 am. Report: 37 Percent of Children in Dallas Live in Poverty
Shaun Rabb FOX 4 News Adapted for Web by Tracy DeLatte | myFOXdfw.com DALLAS - The annual report on the health and quality of life of Dallas County's children is out and there are some things to be concerned about. The report titled "Beyond ABC: Assessing Children's Health in Dallas County" states 18 percent of all children in the county are uninsured. That’s more than twice the national average.... “There are 192,500 children that live in poverty today. That’s enough to fill up Cowboys Stadium twice. If we hone in on Dallas the city, 37 percent of our children live in poverty,” said Christopher Durovich, president of Children’s Medical Center. Some experts who were part of a panel discussion moderated by FOX 4’s Clarice Tinsley warned the well-being of children should be Dallas County’s number one priority. Anarchy in the United States
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anarchy_in_th... Anarchy in the United States is a phenomenon that existed mostly in colonial times. The historical records of it are sketchy, since historians tend to display scant interest in stateless societies.<1> Nonetheless, Murray Rothbard and other historians have identified instances of it. Among them, the coastal region of North Carolina north of the Albemarle Sound in what was then Virginia was a congregating point for those who wished to escape the control of England or the Anglican Church or even wealthier residents of Virginia until 1663. Other major regions of anarchy were located in Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, and the American West. ........... I don't know if anyone wants to discuss this but I really would love to hear from people on their thoughts about Anarchist in the OWS movement. There seem to be a lot of young people who are interested in this and I don't know much about it and I must admit that I am very curious on how it would work. I prefer to think that it would be able to be a chance to form a 3rd Party. That may be too optimistic right now but one never knows where it might go. Thoughts? Who threw a flash-bang grenade at the protesters aiding Scott Olsen? (video at link below) http://informant.kalwnews.org / As Marine veteran Scott Olsen’s health slowly improves after having his skull fractured by a projectile, most likely a police projectile, on the night of October 24, speculation continues to swirl about what hit Olsen and where it came from. In addition to Oakland Police, officers from the San Francisco Sheriff’s Department, Alameda County Sheriff’s Department, Palo Alto Police Department, and California Highway Patrol were deployed as mutual aid at the intersection of 14th Street and Broadway. Video from the skirmish line on Tuesday evening shows an officer holding a shotgun retreat from the front line of the barricade, then lob a flash-bang grenade into the crowd trying to help Olsen. San Francisco Sheriff Mike Hennessy said in a phone interview that he is “99 percent sure” the officer who lobbed the flash-bang grenade was not SFSD personnel. “If you look at the video, the officer is holding a long-barreled rifle, pointing downwards. We didn’t have any long guns that night.” Hennessy also says SFSD deputies were not armed with flash-bang grenades that night. (Read more at link) ........... Hope someone will come forward with information. October 26, 2011 | 6:09 PM | By Rina Palta
Guest blog: ACLU attorney calls for full investigation of police response to Occupy Oakland By Linda Lye, Staff Attorney, ACLU of Northern California http://informant.kalwnews.org / (Note: 2nd article down the list) Picture this. In response to a peaceful anti-war protest, the Oakland Police Department uses large wooden bullets, sting ball grenades and shot-filled bean bags, as a result of which at least 58 protesters are injured. That was 2003, and unfortunately sounds eerily similar to reports of OPD’s response to an Occupy Oakland demonstration yesterday evening, in which bean bags or other projectiles appear to have been fired directly into crowds and multiple rounds of tear gas were used. OPD’s conduct in 2003 led to a class action lawsuit brought by the ACLU-NC, the National Lawyers Guild, ILWU, Local 10 and other civil rights attorneys. The lawsuit led to a historic settlement, with OPD adopting a Crowd Control Policy that strictly limits the use of force and prohibits the indiscriminate use of bean bags and other projectiles against crowds or passive resisters, except in unusual circumstances.... Yesterday, after OPD’s early morning raid of the Occupy Oakland encampment, Acting Chief Jordan agreed to conduct an investigation of the Department’s conduct. That’s a start, but the situation demands full transparency and accountability. The investigation should clearly be expanded to the Department’s conduct in handling not just the morning raid but also the evening demonstration. But separate and apart from any internal investigation the Department conducts, the situation requires independent oversight and the public has a right to know exactly what happened. .......... We all need to keep an eye on this and not let it go away! Take a look at the other articles on the website link by Ali Winston a reporter that has been looking into Oakland Police tactics for years now. October 26, 2011 | 2:47 PM | By Ali Winston SLIDESHOW Occupy Oakland: gas, beanbags, flash-bang grenades thrown at crowd http://informant.kalwnews.org / (Note: 4th article down the list) I just heard a report on San Francisco Bay Area Live Streaming Video (Kron 4) + Latest News that the Occupy Oakland Protesters will be able to return to the Park they were kicked out of last night after a cleaning is completed of the site. They can protest there during the day but NOT be able to camp out overnight. KRON News is reporting the reason the Protesters were moved out was because the Park was full of filth including used needles and bed bugs, etc., and it had to be cleaned - Of course the Protesters are saying this was NOT true at all! There are some Occupy Oakland people at the site with signs now.
Here is KRON 4 live streaming link: http://newsblogged.com/san-francisco-bay-a... Here is the Occupy Oakland live stream: http://www.livestream.com/occupyoakland (live streaming off and on with video from last night) Occupy Oakland change their chameleon names in a very short time. It is no wonder that they can manipulate the market the way they do and get away with so much without being caught! I have never heard of them but wikipedia says they are the world's largest asset manager corporation:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BlackRock BlackRock, Inc. is an American multinational investment management corporation and the world's largest asset manager.<3> BlackRock is headquartered in Manhattan, New York City, New York, United States and is the leading provider of investment, advisory, and risk management solutions Founded in 1988, initially offering fixed income products, BlackRock has become a financial powerhouse while remaining out of the public eye. According to Ralph Schlosstein, CEO of Evercore Partners, a NY-based investment bank: “BlackRock today is one of, if not the, most influential financial institutions in the world.”<5>
