He is probably the most honorable person to have served in the Bush White House. I like him.
However, as an average DU reader, I knew Powell's speech to the UN was largely bullshit within a day of his presentation. People at this high level of government should have the critical thinking and analytical abilities at least of an average DU reader.
I still like Lawrence, though. He's up there with Richard Clarke (the solitary government official that apologized to the American Public about the intelligence failure that was 9/11) as an honorable public servant, in my opinion.
