As the liberal blogosphere confab, Netroots Nation, kicks off today in Las Vegas, it will inevitably further the "Why are progressives disappointed in Obama?" storyline.

In the past few months, liberal commentators have bemoaned that the public option wasn’t included in the health care law, that the financial reform legislation -- which President Obama signed into law yesterday -- isn’t strong enough, and that Gitmo still isn't closed. The Nation's Eric Alterman even penned a widely discussed essay explaining these disappointments on a system that's stacked against progressives.

But here is something to consider: It's the country -- not the system -- that's stacked against liberals and progressives.

Mark, here are a few things for you to think about, considering YOU are a part of the problem. You write this story as if the whole story is that the people of this country lean to the right, and that's the story. But it's not the story, it's only part of the story, and that's why there's an issue.

People are prone to believe what they are told. Especially when it's a major news media outlet doing the reporting. People feel they should be able to trust what is said on the air to be accurate, truthful, and complete. But it's not. Not by a long shot. And that's why this country seems to lean to the's because that's what most people hear, 24/7, and they believe what they're told.

Consider the right wing hate jocks on radio:

- Glenn Beck
- Mike Gallagher
- Dennis Miller
- Sean Hannity
- Laura Ingraham
- Neal Boortz
- Laura Schlessinger
- G. Gordon Liddy
- Mike Rosen
- The Huckabee Report
- Rush Limbaugh
- etc.

In fact, there are 201 different programs listed on an internet site that allows you to stream these radio programs.

That same site lists just 131 "liberal" programs, and some of them are not as liberal as the conservatives ones are conservative. Diane Rehm, for instance, is certainly not a raging liberal by any means. Progressive radio has far less reach, and few popular shows when compared to the hate radio side of the spectrum.

There are huge sections of the country where you can hear conservative radio on multiple stations, yet not one station broadcasts progressive programming. I've heard it reported that the reason for this is because there is no market for progressive programming, yet when you look at the station ownership mix in these areas, they have conservative corporate ownership with conservative agendas. They squeeze out any opportunity for a different point of view.

Where I live, I would have to drive hundreds of miles to find a progressive radio program over the air. Yet, there are multiple conservative stations that air only hate radio.

When you go into a hotel lobby, they have Fox News on. Same thing at the doctor's office, and many other public places. Could it be that the country leans right because that's all they hear? Conservative values, conservative this, conservative that. Liberals are bad. They're baby killers. They want to tax you to death. Big government. Blah blah blah.

And the truth is, of course, that what is being reported all too often is NOT THE TRUTH. Or sometimes it's only HALF THE STORY, where the part not reported would likely change the story entirely. It happened just this week with Shirley Sherrod. It happened with ACORN. And there have been other instances as well.

The right leaning media reports on the Tea Baggers, with their signs condemning high taxes. Yet they don't report that under the Obama Administration, taxes are lower now for most Americans than they've been in generations.

We're told how bad big government is. And we're not supposed to remember that government got a lot bigger under George Bush and the Republicans.

We're told how horrible the deficit is, and how our children and grand children will be paying for our borrowing. Yet, most of the deficit is due to George Bush and the Republican's tax cuts for the wealthy. MOST. OF. THE. DEFICIT. IS. DUE. TO. TAX. CUTS. FOR. THE. WEALTHY. Is that being reported on Fox News? Is Rush Limbaugh talking about this?

For that matter, are YOU talking about this, Mr. Murray?

If the country is leaning right, I believe it's because that's the only message the majority is getting. MSNBC has several shows that are progressive in nature, but that premium cable channel isn't as widespread as the free Fox News channel is. So the progressive message isn't as pronounced.

There is no fairness in news today. No accountability when you lie, or tell half truths. Glenn Beck can compare our President to Adolf Hitler, and no one bats an eye. Rush Limbaugh can play a song, "Barack the magic negro" over and over again, and that's not racist. But let someone who's viewed as progressive make a perceived--but similar--offense, and there are immediate demands for them to step down, resign, apologize, etc.

Are these same demands placed on "conservative" personalities? I think we all know the answer.

There is a double standard in this country. Right wingers and conservatives can run up the deficit, ruin the economy, start wars based on lies, and generally do whatever they want to do and it's OK. But when progressives or centrists who lean just ever so slightly to the left try to fix the mess the conservatives have created, they are condemned to hell for their actions.

And the media--of which you are part--by and large does NOTHING. Any outrage over things a conservative has done or said is watered down if it's reported at all.

It's a shameful thing. And that's the reason why this country appears to lean to the right. And that's why we need fairness and accountability in today's media.

Are you going to do anything to see that your industry is honest, accurate, and fair, Mr. Murray?

I heard all about it on hate radio this morning, on the way to work. Every other station was playing commercials or something crappy, so this was all that was on. I don't know who the host was, he was male but it wasn't a voice I recognized.

He was talking about how Mexico was the only country who offered help in the Gulf to the U.S. without expecting to be paid for it. When he mentioned Britain, he pointed out that BP was a British company, and that Britain is "supposed to be" an ally of ours.

Then he said that Obama snubbed the Brits by returning a bust of Winston Churchill that had been given to the U.S., and that resulted in hurt feelings. Naturally, they trashed Obama pretty good about that.

So...I came home and checked the facts to find out what the 411 is on this story. Turns out, it's true that Obama did return a bust of Churchill that was on loan from former Prime Minister Tony Blair, who gave it to The Drunken Idiot after 9/11.

The bust was removed as part of the reorganizing (and exterminating) of the Oval Office before the new President moves in. Apparently there's a bust of Abraham Lincoln in that spot now.

The hate radio guy made it seem like this bust had been in the White House for decades, not just during the Bush (p)residency. He also failed to mention it was ON LOAN and not a gift.

At any rate, thought I'd post this in case the story starts making the rounds. Now you know enough to respond.

With all the bad news lately about abusive corporations, I keep having a thought pass through my mind. Ever since the financial sector almost collapsed in 2008, we've heard news reports of powerful executives making bad decisions for their own personal gain. As long as they personally profited, they didn't care about anything else.

We all know how the government had to step in with taxpayer money to bail these financial institutions out, to prevent them from going under. At the same time, millions of hard-working Americans began to lose their jobs because of the bad economy, made much worse by the Wall Streeters. Small businesses didn't have the credit to keep the doors open, so they were forced to close. The lack of credit was due to the big banks, many of which had just themselves been bailed out. They promised to loosen up their lending in return for bail out money, but they didn't. So, lots of people lost their jobs due to the big financial corporations.

Then we got into the health care reform debate. We learned how that industry controls prices, snuffs out competition in some areas of the country, makes decisions based on profit instead of health care or patient needs, and raises premiums and cuts coverage just because they want to. Pretty abusive.

We're still hearing about people losing their homes to foreclosure. They pack up their belongings, and leave the house behind. Sometimes they leave their pets behind because they can't take them with them and are too selfish to tend to their pet, who depends on them. The fact people do this shows just how much this tragedy has effected them.

But it occurred to me that in many instances, these people who are abandoning their homes would not be forced to do so were it not for the negligence, irresponsibility, and greed of others. In fact, the very same people responsible for the collapse of Wall Street are also responsible for many of the jobs lost.

Were it not for the actions of the top executives in the Wall Street firms, many businesses would have still had access to credit, and might have been able to use it to weather the storm a few months, keep the doors open, keep their employees paid, and not be forced to lay people off or shut their doors forever.

THEN I GOT REALLY ANGRY. People in government were so concerned that top executives would leave if they weren't paid well. The banks had to have those big bonuses to retain employees. The fact that these employees oversaw the worst financial disaster since the Great Depression was apparently lost on most. And the fact that they were arguing over multi-million dollar salaries while other innocent victims were being forced out of their homes because of the actions of these abusive executives, was apparently lost on members of Congress, as well as those in the Obama Administration.

And here we are today. The auto makers are still in business, doing much better, some making a profit now. The big banks responsible for the Wall Street crisis are making profits again, and their executives are living in the lap of luxury. We now know the oil companies have been lying to us, sacrificing safety to save money, another example of abuse at the expense of the American people.

But what's really bothering me is this: the very same financial institutions that are responsible for the crisis, and because of that responsibility are also responsible for the loss of jobs of millions of Americans, either because the bank wouldn't loan money, raised interest rates on those already having a difficult time paying their bills, or through refusing to keep interest rates and house payments low.

These very same banks are now forcing the victims of the financial crisis the banks caused out of their homes! This is like running over someone with your car, then just about the time they're going to be released from the hospital, you go in and beat the hell out of them, putting them in a coma!

It's outrageous that this is being allowed. And the fact that it is being allowed says volumes about our members of Congress. All of them, regardless of party. I've not heard anything from the Obama Administration about addressing this. It's almost as if it just doesn't matter to them.

Where else in the world would a bully be allowed to go back and terrorize their victims again? And that's exactly what it is: terrorism. People forced out of jobs and homes through no fault of their own by the very same people who put them in that situation. Where is the humanity? Where is the compassion? Where is the outrage? Where is the action to put a stop to it?

The American people are being raped by big business in this country. And our elected officials are allowing it to happen. The American people are the ones being taken advantage of, victimized, terrorized, and the consideration all seems to be in what's best for the industry.

Don't want those "too big to fail" banks to fail. We're not going to break them apart, but we aren't going to bail them out again. Perhaps a sternly-worded letter will do it.

We can't allow the oil companies to be penalized 10 percent of their annual profits if they cause a major environmental disaster. We'll just give an angry speech, and they'll get the message.

No one wants the health care industry to be harmed by having to be competitive or provide better service to attract and retain customers. We'll just pretend to be harsh with them, then send them millions of new customers under penalty of a fine if they don't buy health insurance.

Americans are stupid. Americans are idiots. Americans are sheep that we keep allowing this abuse--this terrorism--to continue.

When is America going to wake up and see reality for what it really is? This isn't a right or left issue, it's a right or wrong issue. And what is happening in America today is just WRONG.

You are shopping yourselves out of a job.

Some facts about Walmart:

Walmart has received over $1.2 billion in taxpayer subsidies and counting.

Walmart initially creates jobs when it opens new stores, but after an initial boost, studies show a net loss of jobs and an erosion of the better jobs in the area

David Neumark, an economist at the University of California, Irvine, counted a net loss of 150 jobs after a Wal-Mart opened. Wal-Mart didn't create jobs; it destroyed them. For every person who got a job at Wal-Mart, 1.4 other retail workers lost theirs.

Wal-Mart has an effect on manufacturing jobs. Its cost-cutting makes it a leader in moving production overseas. The Economic Policy Institute, a nonprofit Washington, D.C., think tank interested in protecting middle- and low-income Americans, estimated the loss at 77 U.S. manufacturing jobs for every Wal-Mart.

As the competitive leader in the retail market, Wal-Mart sets the tone; studies have shown that when Wal-Mart comes to town, the wages of workers at other businesses also drop. Research out of the University of California, Berkeley, found in 2007 that total wages in a given county decline by 1.5% for each Wal-Mart that opens.

When an economist crunched the numbers, he traced a loss of 200,000 U.S. manufacturing jobs to China just by looking at Wal-Mart's additional sales for the six years ending in 2006. That's 33,333 jobs per year, or 641 every week.

Those numbers don't include the hundreds of thousands of jobs already lost to meet existing sales, he said. Nor do they take into account U.S. manufacturing jobs that suppliers to Wal-Mart moved to other countries, such as Mexico, Vietnam, Thailand and India.

"Total job displacement may be two or three times as high as what I estimated there," Scott (the economist) said. "The question is who is going to make the goods that go in those shelves, and that's what's being overlooked and hidden in the PR statements from companies like Wal-Mart."

Americans truly are shopping themselves out of jobs, and they don't see it at all. They think they're saving money, and they can't afford to shop anywhere else. In reality, you can't afford to shop at Walmart.

I realize we don't see eye to eye on a lot of things. As a Democrat, I believe all Americans should be treated equally, despite their gender, color of their skin, religious beliefs, or place in society. And my take on the Constitution and Bill of Rights is that our founding fathers felt the same way.

The Republican Party presents itself as the party of Christianity, conservatism, family values, smaller government, lower taxes, and high morals. Yet I have to question if those things are truly the focus of today's Republican Party.

Those of you who represent yourselves and consider yourselves to be Christians certainly must feel deep in your soul that what's been going on in Iraq is wrong. Jesus would not condone the death and destruction the war in Iraq has wrought on mankind. And now that there's undeniable proof that Saddam Hussein wasn't involved with the attacks on September 11, 2001, wasn't harboring terrorists, wasn't hiding weapons of mass destruction, and wasn't actually a threat to the United States or its people, it must sicken you when you hear of the people killed or permanently injured. You must weep for the families who have been ripped apart by this war, both here and abroad.

Yet I hear nothing from you. Why is that? Would Jesus want you to keep your mouth shut and allow this death and destruction to continue? As Christians, surely you know that we are all created equal and that the Iraqi people have as much right in the eyes of God to live as you or I do. Would Jesus want you to stand by and allow someone to be tortured and do nothing? You know and I know that he wouldn't, so why are you allowing this to continue?

You do realize that YOU will have to answer for this when the time comes, don't you?

As a conservative, it must infuriate you to see the amount of money being spent on this war. Think of what we could do with that money over here. We need to have bridges repaired, the electrical grid needs to be updated, our ports need modernizing, highways need resurfacing. Yet there's no money for these things because it's all going overseas. And while our economy here at home is failing, Iraq has a surplus, thanks to our tax dollars flowing into that country. The deficit is higher than ever before, and I know you realize that it will have to be paid off at some point.

Your sensibilities must be bruised knowing we are borrowing money from China, a communist country. Communism certainly is not a Republican value, yet we are financing a war on money borrowed from that country. Does this not enrage you? Are you not paying attention, or are you just worn out at this point?

You must know that our government is bigger, more wasteful, and less efficient than ever before. How do you sleep knowing the elected representatives you've supported who promised smaller government have actually created a bigger mess? And they're using your tax dollars to do it with. Do you find this offensive? It certainly seems like you should.

And what about honesty in government? You were all so enraged when Bill Clinton was caught lying about his affair with Monica Lewinski, yet you seem to have become immune to the lies of George Bush. Surely your values don't allow you to discriminate against someone just because of their political affiliation. After all, doesn't the Bible command that all are created EQUAL?

Your Republican President, George W. Bush, lied to you, me, Congress, the United Nations, and the rest of the world in order to start a war with Iraq. Isn't lying also a violation of the Ten Commandments? Commandments being things that you cannot take exception to, at least in my book. So how is it that you've been silent all these years?

But there's more, too. The outing of a covert CIA agent for political purposes. George Bush acted like he knew nothing about it, but we now know that he did. He lied to cover up his actions. And he lied about wiretapping, which was a violation of the law. He was spying on Americans, and not just Americans talking to contacts overseas, but many calls were within the boundaries of our own country.

I know how you feel about homosexuality. But since all are created equal, and you've been ordered to do unto others as you would have others do unto you, how can you discriminate against gay people? You have the right to marry, and receive all of the benefits that go with that. Yet somehow if gay people are allowed to marry also, it will destroy the sanctity of your marriage? That defies all logic. The most destructive event that impacts marriage in this country is DIVORCE. If you truly want to protect the sanctity of marriage, you don't exclude people from marrying, you prevent them from terminating it. Does this not seem a bit hypocritical? Does this not seem like you're judging others, which is something the Bible tells us to not do. Only God can judge. Yet you seem to feel it's OK in this instance.

And how about your current candidates for the top offices in the nation? How about their family values? John McCain divorced his first wife. In fact, he abandoned her and his family. He had an affair with Cindy while he was still married. Does this not damage the sanctity of marriage? Sarah Palin has had an affair with her husband's business partner. Where are the family values you say you cherish so highly?

Lately, I've heard shouts of anger from people who profess to be Republicans. They've shouted that Barack Obama should be killed. They've shouted that he's a terrorist. I have to wonder about that all are created equal thing. And the thou shalt not kill thing. Would Jesus be happy to know that you stand by silently while these things happen? Is that what he/she would do if present on Earth today?

I feel that many Republicans today have compromised their values, morals, ethics, and religion by keeping quiet. Your silence indicates your approval by default. Surely if these things offended your sensibilities you would cry out as you do when gay marriage comes up.

So by your silence, the rest of us can only gather that you indeed condone the lies, the death, the destruction, and all of the other things that your religion, values, and ethics surely tell you are wrong. How do you come to terms with yourselves? Surely not all of you are oblivious to these things that are happening in the world today, and have been happening for many years now.

What has happened to the Republican Party? It seems to me that anyone with a realistic view of the world today, who still maintains their high values and beliefs would be furious over what is happening. And yet the world hears...nothing...from you.

Are you paying attention, Republicans? Is this really the direction you want to take? I wonder because it certainly seems to go against everything you supposedly believe in. And your silence says more than a million words.

You have been reluctant to investigate the crimes of the Bush Administration, despite demands from the American people that you do so. You have either been very neglectful of your responsibilities, or complicit in the crimes committed.

Now we know that George Bush lied to all of us regarding his involvement in the outing of Valerie Plame, an undercover, COVERT CIA agent whose job was to learn who did and who did not have nuclear weapons. And this outing happened during a time of war.

The pieces of the puzzle are beginning to fit together now, Nancy. Bush let Scooter take the fall for himself and others, with the assurance to Scooter that he would not serve time in prison. Bush is covering up his own crimes.

Is this enough, Nancy? Is this enough to get you off your butt and do your job? Your approval ratings are lower than the criminal in the White House. Will this be the final straw? If not, what is it going to take? Another illegal war based on lies? They are already making moves in that direction.

It's time for you to act now, Nancy. Impeachment must be put on the table for Thanksgiving. You are making it more difficult for Dems going into 2008 by your inaction. Instead of insuring a Dem sweep, you are making it easier for the GOP to frame the Dems as "do nothing" because you aren't doing anything.

So, do something - like your job - and get out a big platter for impeachment. It will be a nice Thanksgiving gift to the American people.

Yep, I actually had someone say this to me.

I told them in no uncertain terms that we were all paying for those tax cuts dearly. At the gas pump. In the grocery store. When we go to the doctor, buy prescription drugs, or pay our utility bills.

I also told them the only ones who aren't feeling the pinch are the wealthy, who are receiving a disproportionate tax cut, compared to their earnings, and they are the only group who likely wouldn't feel the pinch of a tax increase at all.

Then I flat out told him that I was sick of stupid idiots like him defending a sinking ship. I told him if he and others like him were standing on the deck of the Titanic with water up to their knees, they'd likely say the ship wasn't sinking, and insist that the band continues to play and wonder where their drink order is.

And then I said that I was sick of people like him walking around pretending to be righteous and wearing blinders, and that if he'd turn off Rush and Bill and Sean for a change, and go find sources for REAL NEWS without the spin, he might learn a few things about the lies he's been fed all along.

I told him he disgusted me, and that I could no longer be his friend because he lacked the ethics, morals, and values that I find important in my life. And then I told him despite what he may believe, those values are sorely lacking in the Republican Party.

I told him Bush's view on supporting the troops was sending them off to their deaths based on lies, and then ignoring their health care issues when they returned missing body parts.

I told him the GOP's conservative values have placed the health of America's children secondary to military contracts in Iraq, again, a war BASED ON LIES.

I told him the GOP's fiscal policies have resulted in the highest deficit EVER, and the MOST WASTEFUL GOVERNMENT EVER.

And as for Bush being a good Christian man, I asked him to consider how a good Christian man could send these young men and women off to die without proper protection, a plan, or a valid reason to fight a war.

I concluded by telling him that if he continues to support these people, I cannot and will not be his friend because I find these people, who are corrupt liars and murderers, and the people who enable them to do these things by their support, offensive to the human race, and not worth the time of day.

As I walked off, he just stood there with his mouth open. Literally.

I HAVE HAD ENOUGH! WAKE UP, IDIOTS!! The rest of us have to suffer for your laziness and ignorance!!!

It will be labeled the Roman Holiday in America Period. Where laws are broken by government, where big business called all the shots and got so greedy that it would stop at nothing to get what it wanted, and when corruption in government was greater than at any other period in our nation's history.

And all the while, a weak Congress and right leaning Judicial Branch sat with their hands under their legs.

While all this was going on, America slept. Americans were too interested in buying foreign cars, rushing for cheap foreign crap at Wal-Mart, refinancing their homes to buy that new Suburban, getting cash advances from credit cards to fuel their desire to buy, buy, buy. And they were so in love with American Idol they let the crooks in Washington take their rights and liberties away from them without complaint.

Yes, I'm certain our ancestors who fought for this country, and gave their lives so we could enjoy freedom, are very unhappy with us right now. We've pissed it all away. Americans have become a very selfish people, most concerned only with themselves, and few willing to do anything about the problems until they are personally impacted by them.

Pretty pathetic. Is it any wonder things in America are the way they are today?

You started a war based on lies so your oil company and big corporate cronies could become multi-billionaires.

You're responsible for the deaths of over 3,500 of our brave and innocent troops, and no one knows for sure how many innocent Iraqis, but the number is surely in the hundreds of thousands.

You've spent billions of dollars on your war in Iraq, while you've allowed things here at home to turn to shit. The tax paying citizens of this country don't have access to decent health care, we don't have safe food, the credit card companies and banks can charge us exorbitant fees, gas costs have gone up steadily since you took office, our environment is failing, and the education our kids get is suffering due to budget cuts.

You've divided the country like no other time in our history, except for the Civil War.

You have created a Charles Manson-like cult with your followers. They're the ones who still profess what a brave man you are, tell everyone how lucky we are to have such a good Christian in the White House, and drive around with your "W" stickers plastered on their cars. Of course, membership in this cult does nothing at all for them, which is the beauty of your plan: they get nothing in return for their adoration and devotion. Just a lousy sticker.

You've spent billions and killed thousands of troops in your war on terror. And yet, four years later, our enemy is stronger than ever. Great job, George! You've bankrupted us, killed us, and ruined our reputation and credibility in the world, and strengthened our enemy in the process! Only you could f*ck things up so bad.

But, that's the way you want it, isn't it? You want to destroy our government, shred our Constitution, tax us but not represent us, and have unwavering support from the people.

America, however, is stronger than you think it is. It's stronger than you and your cronies. Someday, America is going to realize what you're taking away from us, and despite your control over the corporate media, despite your cult status, despite all your well planned crimes, despite all the "W" stickers, you are going to go down. And your cronies will go down with you.

America will survive because it is good by design. You are not. You are evil. You lie, steal, kill, torture, and tell us it's all for our own good. Good overcomes evil. It always does, eventually. America is slowly waking up, and we are not happy with what we're seeing.

Your days in the sun are numbered, little man. If America is half the country it's been in the past, justice will force you to pay for your dirty deeds.

That George Bush's word is not to be believed? You actually came this far thinking the man could be trusted?

And you're the Speaker of the House. Amazing you were able to achieve so much, all the while being so oblivious to the world around you.

Why don't you take this new revelation of yours and do something about it? Like, um...oh let's see...put IMPEACHMENT ON THE TABLE. That would be a good place to start.

How do you come to terms in your own minds the hypocrisy of these pro-life, pro-war, pro-death penalty politicians?

Your Bible specifically states that while on Earth, mankind is not to judge others, kill others, or condemn others. Yet this is exactly what is happening.

How can you support people and policies that cause so much pain and agony? A picture says a thousand words, and this is what your support of the Republican Party is doing:

Why do you hate this woman so much? What has she done to you that you feel she deserves this much pain and agony?

Take a look in the mirror - you are responsible for this woman's pain.

May your God forgive you for your sins.

Because he's a child that has never been forced to grow up and be an adult. A child who has been sheltered, protected, and forgiven because of his privileged status of being born into a powerful and corrupt family.

A child who ran from his responsibility to serve his country, despite having every exception and consideration made for him to start with.

A child who couldn't resist the attraction of drugs and alcohol, and didn't have the courage or inner strength to overcome his addictions, because he never had to before.

A child who treats others as if they are beneath him. And he honestly, truly believes he is superior to others, regardless of their intellect or achievements on their own, without help from people in power.

A child who was able to botch his way through a Presidential campaign - twice - and still win because it was given to him.

A child who has staged public relations stunts from the very moment he took office, including, very possibly, the biggest one of all: 9/11.

So it really comes as no surprise that he would play games with a visiting foreign dignitary, because playing games is what he does best and is normal behavior for him.

Life is just a big game to George Bush, and the American people and troops are just pieces on the game board. Pieces to be shoved around at the spin of the dice, at a whim, or hurled across the room in a fit of anger because things aren't going his way.

I'm ready for this game to end. How about the rest of you?

Yesterday, George W. Bush turned his back on America and our troops after announcing he had vetoed the emergency funding bill.

How much more will we tolerate, America?

The man has lied to us, spied on us, raided our treasury, allowed our brave troops to fight a war based on lies and without proper equipment or a plan for success, outed a COVERT CIA agent who was specifically working on nuclear proliferation, then lied about that too.

He and his Vice President continue to tell us that Iraq = 9/11, even though we should all know by now that simply isn't true. It's a lie.

We had the worst terrorist attack in our country's history due to the inaction of this administration in the months prior to the attack. All warnings were ignored.

We had one of the worst natural disasters with Hurricane Katrina, and this administration allowed citizens to die and float in the streets of New Orleans, being eaten by rats. And they did...nothing. They promised they'd fix the problem, and it still isn't fixed. Money and aid donated by other countries was not accepted.

The man has turned his back on America. He is willing to allow others to die for his lie—for his war—that has made his wealthy friends even wealthier, and even though he knows the majority of the American people want the war to end, and our troops brought home, he ignores our wishes by turning his back on us and walking away.

It is time for us to turn our backs on this man. And we can all start by swamping Nancy Pelosi's office with calls for impeachment. It will be hard for her to continue to ignore us if she's getting thousands of calls every day from Americans demanding that the impeachment process is started.

CALL NOW: (202) 225-0100. Not one more dead soldier, not one more dollar for this war based on lies. IMPEACH!

1. Why was nothing done about the August 2001 memo which advised terrorists were determined to strike America using commercial jets?

2. Why did you not react immediately when advised America was under attack on September 11, 2001? (I would make him wait 7 minutes to answer, with the room in silence, to emphasize the amount of time he sat there and did nothing.)

3. Why did WTC 7 collapse?

4. How can you profess to be a Christian man, who believes in The Bible, when you don't live your life in accordance with The Bible?

5. Are you a sinner?

6. Have you ever been stopped for driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol?

7. Why are you sacrificing the health, security and well being of the American people for the war in Iraq?

8. Why are so many children being left behind under your "No Child Left Behind" Act?

9. Why do you support Gonzalez when his job is obviously over his head? (If he isn't a corrupt liar, he's not properly overseeing his department.)

10. Did you know that an event was going to happen on 9/11 before it happened?

11. Have you ever fathered a child outside of marriage? Was/were those pregnancies aborted?

12. You criticised Bill Clinton when he was President about his lack of action against high gas prices, yet you have done little to control gas prices during your terms in office. Gas was $1.46 when you took office. Why haven't you done anything about it?

13. Why do you think people view you as arrogant?

14. Why do you think people view you as not trustworthy?

15. How involved were you in the outing of Covert CIA Agent Valerie Plame?

16. How involved were you in the termination of the U.S. Attorneys?

17. Despite your claim that you would investigate, why was no internal White House investigation done in the outing of Valerie Plame?

18. What is your real plan to repair/restore New Orleans?

19. Did you plot to manipulate information given to Congress and the American people to start the war in Iraq?

20. Have you consumed an alcoholic beverage or any prescription or otherwise drugs in the last 48 hours? If so, how much and exactly what were they.

YOU work for US. YOU are in office because WE voted to put you there. So why then do you have such a great health care benefit and we don't? You expect us to somehow deal with Medicare and what little is still left of Social Security, while you have a program that is second to none.

YOU expect US to work for minimum wage, which is not a living wage in any sense of interpretation, while you give yourselves raises year after year after year. And for what? A job well done? When the people you are working for are largely barely making it, your job performance rating should not justify big raises for yourselves.

YOU search everyone entering your place of work to make sure they don't have hand guns, to protect yourselves from crime, yet we are expected to be comfortable facing strangers on the streets and in our places of work who have concealed weapons, whether they are a responsible person or not.

It's time for the double standards to end. Stop the hypocrisy. If it isn't good enough for you, it isn't good enough for the American people. Stop judging others by different standards than you hold for yourselves.
