I was just over on a music forum, Rhythmism.com, and some freak posted a photo of two drug users about to do you-can-guess-what in an alley. A few posts down, somebody replied to the effect, "I bet those among the ones laughing the hardest at this were among those Democrats who spent the last year protesting against the war."

He went on to say Democrats are rich kids who keep people poor.

Uh-huh. Like Larry Craig isn't a Republican, and the Young Republicans aren't snotty rich brats, and the oil companies and the Saudi monarchy aren't in bed with the G.O.P.

What a fucking moron. Not only did the photo not have a thing in the world to do with politics or the war, he sounded frankly insane throwing everything at the Democrats out of nowhere.

It's people like him who placed this country in the mess it's in right now.

Too bad they're not from the U.S., we could use people like them.

What is the ideal ratio of milk to ice cream for a standard milkshake? (My favorite kind is chocolate, by the way.)

Thank you.

I am afraid of poisoning. Also, my dad taught me that if you don't need them to eat, you shouldn't.

"The women share a common vision and mission to spare future generations problems that now vex much of society.

"It's hard to be proud of your cultural heritage and traditions if every day you face extinction," Debra White Plume of Manderson told the women."

Why is it easier to believe in space creatures than it is in weather reports?

Hello!
Spent a lot of time cleaning up my room so the folks from Verizon can come in today and install the FIOS service. Took several boxes over to the storage department. Haven't been feeling too well. This is my vacation, and it's not a fun way to spend it, but I did get a chance to pick up a new copy of a recent paycheck that my company had lost in the mail. So, things are slowly righting themselves, somewhat.
My dog, Keisha
She's been slowing down a bit lately. It may be the change in weather patterns, from summer to fall. This is Florida and it stays warm pretty late around here. As long as she eats, drinks and goes for walks on a regular basis (which she does), then I think we're okay.
Astronomy adventures
The other day, I got some lovely views of the constellations. I was asleep the day before yesterday, and missed the appearance of the planet Mars! Ooh, I really wanted to see that. Still, I work night shift, so when I have days off, I sleep odd hours. Anyhoo, two days ago, the stars showed up really well, and I got to pinpoint at least four major constellations. I try to have new goals now and then.
