In July 2009, as my mother was dying, with her bones breaking with each step from extensive bone and many other cancers, my half-sister had my cousin drag her to her attorney to have her change her newly signed will, from co-executor with me, to sole executor. I was left in as the alternate executor. Mom had insisted I sign as POA on the day she received her diagnosis, yet 10 days later, under duress from my 3 half-sisters, Mom did as they demanded and changed it to my sister. Mom was taking ...

They are creating a 'service' class. People that believe they must accept inhumane treatment from their employers out of fear of not finding any work if a citizen; or of being deported if not legally here. It is inhumane to force people into work with no regard for their well-being and under fear. It is the corporations that have forced poverty on so many good people. They maximize profits and cut 'costs'(read as jobs and quality) in their quest for the ultimate profit. The problem is they fe...

According to his confession Lucas claimed he and Toole would pick up most of his victims along the interstates: "Just about everyone I pick up, I kill 'em. That's the way it always turn out." Toole, who at the time was incarcerated in Florida on an arson murder, confirmed many of the claims, adding his own details. According to Ottis they picked many more hitchhikers when he wore a dress. Not surprisingly the confession became morbidly bizarre with episodes of necrophilia, dismemberment, and can...

If there are so many enlisted that were suffering from BPD when they joined, there is little chance they would have made it through basic; more likely basic created it if it exists in such great numbers in the returning troops. Here are several articles on PTSD and Borderline Personality Disorder: August 25, 2006 Borderline Personality Disorder: An Overview John M. Oldham, M.D. Classification and Diagnosis DSM-IV-TR emphasizes that patients with borderline personality disorder (BPD) sho...

UN attacks US nuclear report on Iran David Fickling Thursday September 14, 2006 Guardian Unlimited The UN's nuclear watchdog has made a stinging attack on the US Congress over an "outrageous and dishonest" report on Iran's nuclear programme. The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) said that the congressional report published last month contained "erroneous, misleading and unsubstantiated information", and that it took "strong exception" to "incorrect and misleading" claims in the repor...

It is listed as humor, but I feel it is completely indicative of what would happen to Jesus now. HUMOUR 03-Apr-2007 By Peter Fleming Eight minutes past three, on this very good Friday. Call us on the open line and tell us what you think. Well, we got him. It's been a long time coming, but, finally: he's confessed. Egg on the face of all his supporters this afternoon, as self-confessed terrorist Jesus Christ gets exactly what he deserved. And some would say crucifixion is too good for the li...

usually temporary problems. The guilt, the shock, the sorrow and anger left behind after a loved ones suicide can seem unbearable at times, but it will hurt somewhat less with time and only with time. Please give my deepest condolences to your family. And if any assholes try to say he is going to hell; tell them that a loving God would never condemn someone to hell for the horrible suffering and hopelessness that drives anyone to this act. How old is Keith's son, if it's not too pe...

* has violated the Constitution, the Geneva Conventions, the Nuremberg Principles and the UN Charter. How anyone can believe the world isn't waiting to see if we hold him accountable or instead act politically sweet and let it slide awhile to avoid internal conflict, is beyond me. *&co are WAR CRIMINALS any way it reads and should be treated as such. What's your take on it? Looks really horrid to me. Gives * free reign and a pass on his crimes, silences leakers and whistle-blowers, and muffles the press (worse than now) It was voted on in the House yesterday! Is this on a fast-track? Am I just being an "alarmist"? H. I shuddered the first time I read these passages. Am I am “alarmist” or simply seeing with clarity? I understand why some here get defensive when this regime is compared to the Nazis or our citizenry are compared to the Germans at the beginning of the Third Reich. Many just cannot bring themselves to imagine that our "leaders", as horrific as they have been, could take us to such an extreme. Many simply don't want to believe they are blind. They would rather continue to believe America is ...

Caps are mine for emphasis. snip> According to Guantanamo's rules, a six-person team of military police should have been patrolling constantly, and as usual the bright neon lights stayed on. A guard should have passed each detainee's cell EVERY THIRTY SECONDS. 'From the landing, you can see right into every cell,' said Rasul. 'They don't have doors, just gates made from wide-spaced mesh. There's no privacy. If you hang up a towel because you want to go to the toilet, they make you take it ...

That says it all. Convince people that they never measure up and you create a slave to the corporations. For life, barring some seriously life-changing event. Keep the masses always striving for "more" and "better" and they barely notice the world around them, much less that they are imprisoned.

This new topic is awaiting edits. It was started by windy252. I am looking for any pre-9/11 scandals of the Bush II administration. Any assistance would be appreciated. Dick Cheney's energy task force, which included folks from Enron and assorted other oil/coal/gas industry types, the minutes of meetings of which are still secret would be one. The administration's utter disregard of terrorism in general, and al-Qaeda in particular, would be another. A big one here: Pentagon missing $2.3...

The Soapbox on the right side column at (Link) has some interesting views, to say the least, on a wide range of issues. It might be a great place to educate the masses on the ongoing election fraud travesty. It looks as if many repugs may read it. I found a few good opinions but was surprised to read so much anti* from the Reichwingers there. Different issues, but enraged Reichwingers out for blood! *'s!! :applause: :woohoo: First, watch yur asses Congriss and the Senete! You've got hugh...

It sounds as if they have a very good system. 60 years with NO problems. I would hate to see Berlusconi win. I had to tell Unca' Dick and Scoter about Vally Plam cause she knew we were trying to take WMD's into Iraq and other places in the axis of evil. It was the only way to pretect America, making sure we could take out these countries of evils. We weren't sure wher to look for the WMD's we know they all have, this just mad it easer to cataupult the propganda and get ur done. My best friend is always getting these horrible reich-wing "Christian" emails from a woman he knows that thinks she's hysterically funny, which he forwards to me. This one finally was the last straw and I lost my temper and sent her the email I have included that follows. I imagine she will be turning it over to DHS. Will I get a visit for this email? I really do not care at this point. I am so sick of these morans and their hatred and chosen ignorance. Did I do a completely horrible thing? ...

I am livid that Specter did not make Gonzales testify under oath for these NSA wiretapping hearings. WTF! I love our country, but am so terribly ashamed of our "leaders" actions and policies. I am also deeply ashamed that so many in this country rabidly defend the actions of our fascist "leaders"to their fellow countrymen and the world, high-fiving each other with each new atrocity reported, ignorant of anyone's suffering, maybe not even their own in some cases. I am doing all that I can to try and end this regimes reign of terror, but it seems that they have assumed almost complete power and contr...

is a Satanic approach to God. If anyone was truly paying attention to Christ's teachings, they would be Gnostic's and share possessions as he did. I have had fundies tell me that they have expensive things because they are filled by the "Holy Spirit" and it's "His" reward. Also that I am ill because I don't have the "HS" in me. How is materialism in anyway connected to God? When I see huge expensive churches and then see the homeless down the street, it angers me to no end. If that's not evi...

This video has been shown around the world, but until a few months ago, thanks to Amy Goodman, it was never known here. I've heard that PBS had something awhile back mentioning this crime against humanity. This also needs to spread far and wide. I was mortified when I found out. How can they keep this up without a lynch mob coming for them??!! (Link)

The doctors could never find anything other than his mother's mercury exposure (1970 to 1985?) to explain his "global" birth defects. They wouldn't deny it as a factor, but there are really no other explanations as far as I am concerned. And my sister was researching mercury after private conferences and I don't believe it was a coincidence, she had always poo-pooed the thought until recently. They told my sister and all the females in our family to not have more children. They looked for some g...
