Does it sound hateful to you?

Or do you agree with it?

Should our government put the issues and concerns/needs of American citizens first, or is that a selfish point of view?

I've seen Giuliani in a few interviews, the man is not bright at all. He's quick on his feet (unlike Bush), but when it comes to serious topics the man is much like Bush in many ways. Dumb as nails. Besides, he gets all this credit for what he did on 9/11, but nobody ever asks why he didn't evacuate both towers as soon as the first plane hit.

But nevermind all that, this is why we need to start exposing Giuliani:

Pay close attention to how well he does with voters in general and independents.

I heard some right wing nuts complaining about this on the radio. A few asked if any reparation monies would be used to, and I quote, "buy crack."

We now know that the government will leave us to rot in our homes for days and days if the worst were to happen.

Are you stocking up on water? In case tap water is not drinkable?

Are you storing extra food?

Do you have first aid kits?

What about guns--in case of anarchy?

I've seen many comparisons of * to Hitler.

People smugly say that a Holocaust could never happen again here or anywhere else. Yet, Bush has set the stage for a collapsed U.S. economy. At the polls, rigged or not, millions of people actually voted for Bush despite this fact. I'm just wondering what group the Bushes will pin the blame on, in '08, if our economy is in complete shambles. It is not farfetched to think that a broke and fearful American public would be all to glad to want to pick a minority group to blame it on.

Do you think Americans would be willing participants and/or observers in a Holocaust (aimed at wiping out blacks, gays, Jews, and maybe even known Democrats)?

Action.

I believe Kerry's fate was sealed when he openly and honestly talked about the race problem in America during the third debate. Notice how Bush slimed his way through without so much as addressing one part of the question.

The moral values controversy is a mask---in reality, many Republicans have given up on the Democrats because the Dem party has been painted as the party of the blacks and gays.

Thus aversive racism is manifested in opposition to programs and policies that seek to undo white privilege or provide advantages to blacks on the basis of historical discrimination. Interestingly, contemporary research in social psychology demonstrates that the aversive racist is unaware of his or her racism; much of contemporary racism is an unconscious process.

This leaves us with a dilemma--as long as 90% of African Americans vote Dem, the white majority will vote in another direction.

My parents said Kerry did it to illustrate his point better, although they said Kerry should have used the word "gay" rather than "lesbian" because the word "lesbian" has too much shock value in this society.

Yes, I know I'm late as hell but I finally got around to seeing F911.

Why didn't any Senators stand with the CBC? Kerry? Clinton? Kennedy? Edwards? Was the disenfranchisement of thousands of African Americans not important enough? I was extremely disgusted during that scene, especially at the way Gore kept shouting the Representatives down.

After seeing that movie, I actually considered voting for Nader. That is my frustration level at this time. However, I cannot play a role in Bush getting another 4 years. I will be holding my nose as I vote this November.

I know I'm really late on this one, but I just wanted to know how DUers felt about this.

Bill Cosby (news) went off on another tirade against the black community Thursday, telling a room full of activists that black children are running around not knowing how to read or write and "going nowhere."

He also had harsh words for struggling black men, telling them: "Stop beating up your women because you can't find a job."

Cosby made headlines in May when he upbraided some poor blacks for their grammar and accused them of squandering opportunities the civil rights movement gave them. He shot back Thursday, saying his detractors were trying in vain to hide the black community's "dirty laundry."

"Let me tell you something, your dirty laundry gets out of school at 2:30 every day, it's cursing and calling each other n------ as they're walking up and down the street," Cosby said during an appearance at the Rainbow/PUSH Coalition & Citizenship Education Fund's annual conference.

A seemingly lovely young lady smiling over the dead body of another human being who was most likely tortured to death. As a female I cannot imagine how another female could be so cruel and hateful. Are the soldiers caught up in this scandal genuinely the worst of the worst, or has war done this to them?

I don't know much about law, but I have endured undo stress and emotional trauma over the past few years since voting for Zell Miller, who pretended to be a loyal Democrat in the 2000 elections. Can I sue him for running for office under false pretenses?

Zell Miller Blasts Fellow Democrat Kerry - 05-15-2004

Sen. Zell Miller, the Bush campaign's most famous Democratic attack dog, ripped into John Kerry Saturday as an "out-of-touch, ultraliberal from Taxachusetts" in a speech before Georgia Republicans.

I ask because recent polls have shown that Democrats are not that much more supportive of gay marriage than republicans. Also, many black dems are against gay marriage. Is this an issue that every Democrat/Liberal should be in agreement on? Or does the issue transcend party lines?

Edited to change "oppose" to "disagree."

One dead through a military attack, the other through a "terrorist" attack. The result is still the same. I guess it depends on what school of philosophy you side with most. Intent is subjective, and we can never be sure of what a criminal's true intentions were. To avoid that confusion, look at the outcome only.
