For the past 8 years the occupant of the the White House has been lying to the American people. We were lied into war, we were lied to about Valerie Plame, we were lied to about Katrina, the DOJ, everything.

John McCain has now shown us that he has perfected the political lie. I guess lying is the primary qualification for a Republican office holder.

John McCain, you are exactly the same as George Bush!

America needs the truth!

We CAN handle the truth and we need it!

There is something to be said about academic achievement, but apparently if you are a Republican, it is not important.

McCain graduated within 10 of the bottom of his class at Annapolis and Palin: She attened 5 colleges in 6 years to get her degree? The idiot we have in the White House is likewise in their league. How did that work?

This country needs it best and brightest in its management positions, not dumbest. But perhaps McCain and Palin are closer to the average level of intelligence that may elect them. If either of them were applying for a job with any major Republican led company, their resume alone would deny them an interview.

It is time for a change, time to bring brains back to the White House!

Ollie North worked in the White House and his White House emails were used to document many of his activities. In fact, the White House changed email systems (from IBM PROFS to Digital's All-in-one) because everyone was worried the one in use at that time was too easy to reconstruct emails. There was a case on the matter and the courts held that the emails were public records.

Time to get to work Congress and do your job!

This has the potential to be one of the biggest invasions of privacy government has ever put forward. RFID chips in our licenses will allow the government to deploy readers all over the country and track our every movement.

Is this really what we want? At least we can turn off our cell phone, one cannot turn off an RFID chip, it is a passive device that needs no power.

This needs our attention Now!

Ok, so it will take longer, we need to amend the Constitution
Yes, I know, that will not happen, but we can dream.

As to civics education, there is much better evidence that little is taught, consider the lack of concern for many of the things shrub has done such as wire tapping.

First, the voters of Conn. need to put a constitutional amendment on the ballot to provide for the recall of Conn. Senators and House members.

Pass the amendment by whatever the Conn. procedure is.

Then........ Recall his ass.

Cuyahoga County Ohio Possibly Exposed Election System to Computer Virus

By: Election Science Institute
Published: Nov 2, 2006 at 08:04

The memory cards that will be used to store votes on Election Day in Cuyahoga County, Ohio were stuck into ordinary laptop computers in September, possibly exposing the county's election system to a virus infection. This serious security lapse was caught on video through the efforts of Cleveland resident Adele Eisner and Cleveland-area filmmaker Jeffrey Kirkby, who has graciously made his raw footage available on the Internet for personal viewing here.

I almost threw my remote at the TV tonight while watching NBC Nightly News. They did a story on the Clinton/Fox interview but opened it up by discussing Bill's rumored temper and trying to show that the most important part of the story of the interview was that Clinton was showing his anger and not what he was saying. It almost seemed as if the script was written by Fox News. I watched the clip and Clinton never raised his voice, he just made his point in a forceful manner. Isn't that what the Repubs have been saying that the Dems had no guts. Well, President Clinton showed what he was made of and I was proud!

Shame! Shame! NBC..

Say what you want about Matt Lauer and James Carville, the truth is there is no understandable Democratic Message. All we hear is look how bad Bush is had vote for us. That will just not work! The DNC MUST wake up and start telling the country what they will do to fix National Security and Iraq. They MUST convince the voters that they will be safer with them in power.

Until that time, it will be more of the GOP, who may not know how to govern, but they sure know how to get out a message.

I am starting to get very discouraged and can see that the 2006 election will just be more of the same. We need a spokesman like KO to start speaking. What he said the other night about 9/11 was what the Dem's should have been saying for the past three years, if not past five years. Our party has lost its way.
