all the while bleeding the country of its morality, integrity, and resources. And Iraq, we have turned into a hell on earth... :grr:
You touched my heart, and I am extremely grateful.
Thank you.
at the extreme end of the ILLEGAL<============================>ETHICAL line. Their main goal -- really only goal -- is to maximize shareholder value through increased profits. The push for immediate and short term results, comes at the expense of the worker, environment, and many times, their long term viability as a going concern. The immediate profit attainment is all-encompassing as the metrics of success are measured against current competitors.
Long term viability is being/has been ...
and those wielding the money with the power. We now have Hilary committing to remain in Iraq and banging the war drums for Iran. Between the corrupt power mongers/money grubbers in the GOP's electorate, the neoliberal and neocon capitalist elite, and the CEO/corporate/media whores... we are at a distinct disadvantage. Lies and deceit are the norm.
Our strength is in numbers, and we must use that strength to reinforce the resolve of our warriors: Waxman, Conyers, Sibel Edmonds, Valerie Plame, Ma...
Just had my eyes opened, again... and it is not a pretty sight. The massive co-ordination involved to subdue the public -- through the sponsored media, and contrived economic situations -- has evinced itself in the greatest crime/s of the last millennium. A perceived imprisonment within our own borders. The harnessing of a weak-kneed House and Senate over the last 12 years has rendered us far too close to powerless. Yet we are told over and over that we live in the bastion of freedom and democra...

Almost immediately, he caused a stir after he joined the White House Press Corps in 2005, making waves as the first reporter to ask then-White House press secretary Scott McClellan whether the leaking of CIA agent Valerie Plame's name might be considered an act of treason.

he was relegated to person-to-person interaction to create awareness. This, the result of the corporate-owned media's reprehensible cover-up of global warming and denial of its severe ramifications. The fourth estate owns this.
As stockholders of these entities, we become equally complicit in not demanding accountability for their actions. Corporate 401K's and mutual funds reduce our market risk... but at what cost? We relinquish the power of the individual making self-determining decisions on...
Now THIS would be a BAD day at the office!

subdued name-calling. (Image) My take is that the prevailing aura of fear propagated by KKKarl and Co. for too many years, has undermined our ability to argue with passion and integrity. The trauma of the crimes committed against "we the people" begets arguments based in anger, resentment, shame, and a myriad more non-productive -- and oft-times irrational -- emotions.
I am guilty of inflammatory rhetoric and admit that this type of discourse has the effect of alienating the person, instead of ...

'Corporism '.... and your leverage
Unfortunately, we didn't have access to the 'real math', because we(individual voters), cannot throw $$$$$ millions or billions $$$$ at our targets.
Take a look at what these assholes propagate. All the obfuscation and intentional alienation serves to divide and conquer. Divided we stand, because they have campaigned to break our trust. We are in limbo... or so they conceptualize.
Our only, and I truly mean ONLY, deliverance from the hell creat...

Life is too precious
I have had numerous greetings from fellow DU'ers, and can say it is always much appreciated.

As a contributor to an international "Current Events" blog, encounters with Freeper type a-holes were becoming more numerous as the election drew near. Needing to validate my points, and seeing the intelligence and thought behind so many posts At DU, it became clear that I had found a new home.
My passion grew as...
