Was it as good for you as it was for me?

One thing is really irritating me. Seems to me that whenever Obama has been tied or a bit behind McSame, pundits wonder oh so loudly and repeatedly...why can't Obama win? He apparently doesn't have the right stuff! People just aren't going to vote for an Af. American! What's the problem with his campaign????

But when Obama is ahead, no matter how much, it's the same thing over and over: they wonder WHY isn't Obama ahead MORE? Why can't he close the deal? He should be ahead 25 points! He's obviously ONLY ahead because of the financial crisis or the Republicans (or take your pick of the reason), having NOTHING to do with him or his campaign!

This reeeeallllly gripes my _ss. Yes, events are in the Democratic Party's favor. I even agree that if the Dems can't win this one, they may as well pick up their little suitcase and go home for a couple of decades. But I resent the mind-think that ALL Democrats are the same, and the candidate could be just anybody, anybody at all, and she or he would be winning through NO EFFORT of his own! Just draw a stick figure and pop on a head of any ol' Democrat. No difference, they seem to be saying.

Obama is where he is MAINLY because he has shown a primary executive skill of SELECTING EXCELLENT PEOPLE TO DO THE JOBS HE CHOSE THEM TO DO. He chose a stellar campaign staff, beginning with Axelrod. NEXT, he managed the campaign, making executive decisions along the way. The candidate runs the campaign, or the campaign runs him. Clearly, Obama is running his campaign. THIRD, he and his staff are THE BEST at raising money and organizing supporters. The best in history. FOURTH, he and his staff are THE BEST at managing money (now THAT'S a handy skill to have at this time in history!).

So, yes, events are in his favor. As Obama says, "Now is the time." But he became the nominee, and is ahead in almost all the polls almost all the time because he has run an excellent campaign and is blessed with various executive gifts like a keen mind, thoughtful insight, and the ability to communicate.

All Democrats are NOT interchangeable! (Just like McSame has found out that all WOMEN politicians are not interchangeable. Having Palin on the ticket, he now knows, is not the same as having someone like Hillary Clinton on the ticket.)

So there! Take that, you pundits and evil Republicans!!!!!

I learned that it's OBAMA'S fault that McSame's rallies got that hostile because Obama wouldn't agree right away to have 10 townhall debates!

If O would only LEARN to just DO what McSame says, then everything would be okay, and no one would threaten to kill him! So easy.
