Being a newbie here, and also a lifelong Democrat I still would appreciate it if there was a DU NEWS ANCHOR RATING SERVICE on DU.

This could be a Dynamic Rating service which would help people like me to understand what I am really hearing on the news.

It could be set up as follows. --------

Set up a master table with each Newscasters Name and 5 rating categories in each grading from Liberal to Conservative.

Members could vote their opinions (one per newscaster) on these newscasters. These entries should be weighted by total number of posts of the
individual voting.

Members with 1000+ entries should have a better idea of who is liberal or conservative, and their opinion should count more.

The tables should be set up so one could vote again, having the last data point replacing the old data point.

Output would be in terms of actual post total numbers PER NEWSCASTER in each category and percentages in each category.

This should be set up to be reached with a front page link (icon) - for easy access.

With 128,000 members it should be easy to grade all on the current pack of newscasters and help in ferreting out their biases.
