or something like that.......
anyway, for those who don't know me in 2006 we bought a 15 year old mobile home, with a ghastly master bath including the dreaded carpet sided octagon 'garden tub' and the ever popular vinyl wallpaper
(Image)
so we hired some (I know now) idiots to remodel and install a stem wall and walk in shower, looked ok to start, but never drained correctly and with a mobile home in 70MPH winds you tend to get a bit of movement and tile grout pops out like crazy.

Standing cold and scared on top of blue hill,
There came one moment, when I lost my will.
I prayed for mercy, please lord take me away.
Oh give me sunshine where I only see grey.
My past had a hold on me, it can't be denied,
And the changes don't come easily.
* I've been lonely, I've been cheated,
I've been misunderstood
I've been washed up, I've been put down,
And told I'm no good
But with you I belong,
Cause you help me be strong,
There's a change in my life,
Since you came along.
Now I don'...

MK was a beautiful black semi long haired cat I got as a kitten when Mr. K and I were first married.
MK was VERY sweet but not very bright. Not very bright at all. In fact we swore she only had 3 brain cells (nick named Huey, Dewy and Louie) and every once in a while the 3 would align perfectly, MK would raise her head with a look like she'd just discovered the cure for cancer or some other weighty wisdom, the moment would pass and the blank stare would return.
All this sets the stage for the ...

somewhere between 4 and 7 years (depending if you were doing lots of drugs or not) your body releases the last of the booze out of your spinal fluid and brain fluid
it actually acts on your allergy like you'd already HAD a drink. the allergy is triggered and you drink.
did it seem like suddenly your life had gone to shit (even though nothing was changed) that you should "be better after all this time sober" and the restless irritable and discontent had popped up with a vengence?

What about his support for gun control (member of board for Joyce Foundation that supports gun control and a 1996 questionnaire that he completed supporting gun control ((Link))

Blessing or Bane?
Near China's northern borders lived a man well versed in the practices of Taoism. His horse, for no reason at all, got into the territory of the northern tribes.
Everyone commiserated with him.
"Perhaps this will soon turn out to be a blessing," said his father.
After a few months, his animal came back, leading a fine horse from the north.
Everyone congratulated him.
"Perhaps this will soon turn out to be a cause of misfortune," said his father.
Since he was well-off a...

In the Spring of 2004, I was desperate. Bush was a looming menace on my mind and I knew he had to go! I was a Kerry girl all the way. I had written the Senator in 2002 and begged him to run, and my wish was coming true, he was running :woohoo:
I was working with ACT and the budding MoveOn.org to GOTV in Phoenix and was hearing the right wing talking points against all our candidates. One evening, I googled “John Kerry” for some ammo to knock down the arguments I was hearing. One of links was a ...

if you can belief that we believe and take some actions we suggest, the results of those actions will lead you to faith.
here's a parable I like to explain it (stolen from Joe & Charlie's Big Book study)
It was explained to me the difference between belief and faith. Belief is something some one tells you causing you to take an action, faith is what comes as a result of the action you took.
for example: you move to a new town and your car needs work. you ask your neighbor if they know a good ...
