I remember several years ago, I was wearing summer clothing, the temperature was 27 F (-2.8 C), and I enjoyed it. I specified the scale only because 27 Celsius sounds quite reasonable for summer wear (80.6 F). I would get excited to hear forcasts of lows in the thirties and even twenties, which is very rare in the San Francisco Bay Area, which rarely goes below 40 F.
