She took today off because "the face cancer," as we jokingly call it, is bad, worse than it's ever been. I don't know if she's ever taken a full day off just for the face cancer.

She finally broke down and asked for narcotics. She hates narcotics. The best drug she's tried was on its way to ruining her liver. Jesus fucking christ . . .

She's not at the end of her rope yet, because she has yet to see a surgeon or radiologist. There are several surgical procedures and one "gamma knife" procedure to consider.
