don't know it until their convictions are tried. As long as "uncle Tom," stays where he's suppose to stay, then there's no reason for the uproar. Being born and raised in the south, in the 1960's, I'm sad to say, the mentality continues. The "status quo," has been accepted too long and now that we are FINALLY making strides in getting out of the muck and slog we've been in for so many years, people who never realized their bigotry (which is mainly based in fear) are having a hissy fit.

My dad was a bigot. No, he didn't wear the bedsheet and cone, nor did he want to see any harm done to the n*****, but he wanted them to stay in their place and didn't want them moving in "his" neighborhood. I loved him dearly, but I hated his views--and we had many heated arguments.
