Okay, we're not movie reviewers, buy my mentally challenged adult son and I saw this movie yesterday.
And neither of us were OFFENDED. Best movie I've seen all year. My side still hurts from laughing so hard.....and I have to see it again because I literally was on the floor laughing my ass off most of the time.
:toast: Enjoy it!

Type in your current address, get the results, then
Vote in the poll.
This is fun for renters, and those of you who still live with your parents/roomies/in a van down by the river! Zillow will appraise every address!
You can help kick this thread by posting if the appraisal came in higher or lower than you expected, maybe the city/state your in, if you'd like.
I don't recommend posting your zillow results link, too much personal information will be exposed...

Swimmer Amanda Beard might be the sexiest and most compassionate U.S. Olympic athlete of all time. Need proof? Check out the anti-fur ad that she did—naked—for PETA.
Even with her busy and demanding training schedule, Amanda took the time to bare her skin to help save animals' skins. With the tagline "Be Comfortable in Your Own Skin. Don't Wear Fur," Amanda posed nude to help raise awareness of the cruelty inherent in the fur industry.
With Beijing hosting the 2008 Olympic Summer Game...

The rising cost of health care is one of the most urgent problems facing our country, but Congress is struggling to pass even the most modest legislation to deal with it.
Last week, I told you how the U.S. Senate jeopardized health care coverage for countless seniors, disabled citizens, and military families when it failed to pass bipartisan legislation preventing pay cuts to doctors who accept Medicare patients. And for the past week, n...

Obamacans Pile on Clinton at Own Peril
By Froma Harrop
Many in the Obama camp, having outfoxed the apparently not-so-formidable Clinton machine, can't seem to get the hang of winning gracefully. They feel a need to drive a stake in Hillary Clinton's reputation, then dance. If they were smart, they'd heap praise on Clinton and let her finish out the race, however she chooses to do so.
That's sage advice, even though offered by Republican mastermind-turned-pundit Karl Rove...

Letter
Broken Soldiers, and a Broken System
To the Editor:
In “For Wounded Veterans and Their Families, a Journey Without Maps” (Editorial Observer, March 24), Lawrence Downes missed an important opportunity to explain why both the Department of Defense and the Department of Veterans Affairs are unprepared to care for the service members who have been hurt in the Iraq war.
The reason is that the frequently reported number of the wounded in action (29,320 as of March 1) does not ...

Together we can make a difference.
We can make 2008 a pivotal year for the Commonwealth. For the first time since 1970, we can have two Democratic United States Senators! We can add more Democrats to our Congressional delegation. And Virginia can help elect a Democratic president!
We have a lot of hard work to do, but the first step is easy; sign up here to get involved in process. We need your help to get the word out about how a Democratic president and Congress will improve the liv...

I’m proud to endorse Hillary Clinton
Today, I am proud to announce my endorsement of Senator Hillary Clinton as President of the United States.
Senator Hillary Clinton has earned the support of millions of Americans in her campaign for president -- and today I am pleased to count myself among them. The world has reached a critical point, and we need a leader in the White House with the courage, intelligence and humility to naviga...

Obama Wins Endorsement of Union He Once Slammed
February 14, 2008 9:22 PM
Before the Iowa Caucuses, Sen. Barack Obama, D-Illinois, repeatedly disparaged the independent 527 groups backing former Sen. John Edwards, D-NC, and running ads on Edwards' behalf -- the most prominent of which was largely funded by state chapters of the Service Employees International Union, which tonight announced it is backing Obama.
"You've got these outside groups that are helping out candidates and it'...

What gives us confidence Mr. Obama will be stronger the next time he faces Mr. McCain, a seasoned political fighter with extensive national security credentials? Even more important, what special disadvantages does Mr. Obama carry into this contest on questions of national security?
How will Mr. Obama answer Mr. McCain about his careless remark about unilaterally bombing Pakistan -- perhaps blowing up an already difficult relationship with a nuclear state threatened by Is...

there was karaoke.
Team Internet put together a short video for the staff party. It

Not sexually of course, because anyone who knows me knows I am up for anything with anybody. I take all comers. I am an equal opportunity destroyer. So, I am not in that kind of closet. I am in the Democratic Primary closet. I know a lot of people in this closet. We can't talk about it. We are "undecided" in the polls. We are the ones everyone is fighting over. But I don't want to be in this closet, not anymore. I am outing myself.......

I didn't know only two countries in the WORLD allow direct-to-consumer (DTC) advertising, and call it "educating the public" ? The USA is one of them. If only they could give $1.00 of that profit towards Universal Health Care, better yet, donate their entire advertising budget! I hope you read the whole article, then convince me this doesn't smell of Corporate Greed at it's worse:

Only John Edwards Can Beat McCain

I'll be 60 eight days before the election in November. This is a bad thing and a good thing. The bad thing is it ain't going to be a real long time before I'm dead. The good thing is I've traveled a few miles and have picked up something along the way, and that something is called "institutional memory".
As I watched ...
