Most who felt unwelcomed here, moved on. It wasn't just about Obama, trust me. I have many DU friends I've met on other boards, blogs and forums, who are simply growing, not hating. geesh. Stop your (generic) cantankerous, hate spewing comments towards people...you.simply.don't.agree.with.

I'll continue to read DU, there are some bright and inspiring people here. I want to support some threads that do call some of Obama's policies into question, but choose to discuss them elsewhere. Like an adult

Here's a mission statement from one of them, and they're country before party, btw:

I won't post a link because I'm not endorsing them here, but it's definitely a free speech area, but you must be most excellent to each other I wish DU would remember that, it pains me to see so much nastiness...among supposedly compassionate liberals. The way you guys responded to juajen's posts made me sick. Get over yourselves! We have a country to help, even if it means knocking Obama down a notch or two...geeeeesh.
