We got there an hour early, stood out in the sun and then couldn't get in because there was no more room. The location seated 1000 people plus there was room for overflow. We came home to listen to the town hall on streaming video on the net. The teabaggers were out, but the people going into the town hall seemed to be a majority for a public option. The meeting is very civil and Martin Heinrich is doing a great job. Martin supports a public option btw.
There were lots of wonderful folks out to protest Prop8, plus it was a beautiful day. I just feel like I left one giant group hug. I hope there were gatherings all over the country such as the one we had in Albuquerque.
