Believe me, when I say country like Sweden, Denmark, Norway and so on have " a lot of guns". But we also have a whole another culture around the use of weapon than you in the US have. Hey even Police must have a reason to show weapon in public.. For the most part they have not Weapon as standard equipment, even tho they do have weapon in the PD car..

And yes most European Country's also have far STRICTER weapon codes than in the US..
