Anyone who watches local news on any network station at any hour has seen this for as long as they can remember.....Please do not think I am defending the scum @drudge and others like him. He has takien the decades long subliminal art form of networks and turned it into blatant in your face hate infested garbage that sadly is read as gospel by tens of millions.....sad,real fucking sad

hey @drudge or @foxandfriends how about a #PS22 type story for once?? Just once???http://bit.ly/k39B7p #tcot #tlot #narrative ?

Creator of premium support says Ryan has ‘vouchers, not premium support’

http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/ezra-k...

And as if the above was not bad enough, there is this:

"There’s one provision of the Ryan bill that stands out as being hands-down the worst, and that is giving the seniors who are poor enough to also be on Medicaid a medical savings account. Does he know who these people are? They’re very sick, they’re very poor and many of them have cognitive as well as physical problems. They would be asked to cope with the inevitable headaches of dealing with private insurance and managing a personal checking account to pay periodic bills. This is not a sensible proposal. "

HSA's will help the........oh right.....sure

Sure looks like it to me...

http://noisyroom.net/blog/2011/04/12/rush-... /

Dear Pills, If you reduce funding for programs that feed seniors and poverty stricken children their most nutritious meal of the day.....will anyone suffer ? Do you really think they can feed the same number of children if you cut head start by over $999 Million ?

http://www.nytimes.com/2011/03/11/us/polit...

When asked if he was willing to share the sacrifice... hears what Pills had this to say about sacrifice in general:

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discu...

1:43 mark : .... "I'm sorry, I don't participate in recessions"...

He is right about one thing, that any recession will not affect him or his recession creating friends.....Just 99.9% +/-1? of his listeners....and the rest of us. When will the ditto heads and the rest of the right wing see the light like Rep Walter "Freedom Fries Originator" Jones has ?

Please take 4 mins and 30 seconds to watch Rep Jones in the video below. You will not regret it. It is from April 6th on budget cuts to head start and other programs that make the difference in millions of peoples lives:

I really miss Republicans like him

well worth reading the entire thing......but here is a taste.

"The notion that the right under Bush showed anything like the integrity of the left under Obama is preposterous. Ross would like to think so, because it would make his own acquiescence to torture, debt, nation-building and unfunded entitlements look particularly craven and partisan. But reality shows no such equivalence, and I say this with great dismay.

The American right has proven itself more cynical, more power-hungry and less principled than any equivalent group on the left in this past decade. No amount of pirouetting now will erase that fact."

http://andrewsullivan.theatlantic.com/the_...

This applies to almost every right wing nut job out there.

"It really is a selfless act by DeMint. The other two are just political gadflies, media creations, complete jokers (SP & Eric E). But DeMint is actually a Senator. He could have been a Chairman or at least a subcommittee Chairman."

"Erik Erickson has become famous for his visceral hatred of the Republican Party, and of course earlier this year he was immediately hired by CNN to represent the Republican view on various shows. Erickson let the cat out of the bag when discussing the Delaware primary results last night. He admitted that Christine O’Donnell, the winner, has no chance of winning the general election. Erickson then admitted that he really didn’t want Republicans to win control of the Senate."

http://www.thefeeherytheory.com/2010/09/15... /

CNN should make Eric Erikson anchor until the election is over IMO.

Redstate resident nut jobs are obviously a little pissed about what John Feerery has to say on the recent events in Delaware and beyond

The past 24 hours have been fun....(real fun!!!! )But WE still need to work hard and get out the vote!! Walk, talk, volunteer, call the local am radio on your way to and from work to call them out!!!. 90% of the sheep think Obama signed "TARP" into law and he is only accountable for less debt then they would ever believe. You all know the rules....they make shit up...we spend 2x or 3x the time calling bullshit before we can get back to what really matters. This time its for all the marbles. WE need to convince the few moderates left still breathing thru their noses and have 1/2 a brain not to vote for a bunch of bat shit crazy nuts running the show over there.

edited to add SP and EE above

with new lyrics ...."Who'll Stop the oil" sung by a megan kelly twin. The whole song plays into the right wing Hannity/Rush/Beck narrative that Obama refuses to stop the oil.....refusing help, not deploying man power and resources and all the other lies packed nicely into what one would expect to see on SNL or something....How low will these dirty f'rs go ?

John Fogerty sadly sold off the rights to this song to Fantasy Records a very long time ago and had this to day about what has been down with it since..

Fogerty objected to what he regarded as a misuse of his music in an NPR interview:

Folks will remember Forrest Gump and that was a great movie, but they don't remember all the really poor movies that Fantasy Records stuck Creedence music into: car commercials, tire commercials. I'm remembering a paint thinner ad at one point, the song "Who'll Stop The Rain." Oh, boy. That's clever, isn't it?<4>

In Alabama, Mississippi, & Florida ?

I live in Orlando now. A few years back I lived in Dunedin which is just north or Clearwater. I would not let my kids swim there now. I cant imagine what the people still frolicking around in the panhandle are thinking!!!!!!

Just like after 9-11 when they ( the govt & pols ) said the air is safe for all the First Responders they now say the water is safe for swimming. I wouldn't swim in that shit if Halley F*$king Barber's grandchildren were there......Which you know damn well that ain't happening. What the FUCK ????

Another thing I was thinking...Who the fuck thought it would be better idea to burn the g-d damn oil instead of sucking it off the surface with some g-d damn fucking SUPERTANKERS?????? WHERE THE FUCK ARE ALL THE FUCKING SUPERTANKERS ????????????????????

Great article.

http://taxvox.taxpolicycenter.org/blog/_ar...

....

"So who are these folks who pay no federal income taxes? Mostly, they are people who don’t make very much money. Many are elderly: Think a widow living only on Social Security benefits. Others are parents earning less than $20,000. Only about 5 percent are non-elderly households making more than $20,000".
....

"There is, however, another reason why some people don’t pay. For decades, both Democratic and Republican governments have made conscious policy decisions to remove low-income working families from the income tax rolls. And, guess what, sometimes government policy works exactly as intended. That’s what happened this time."

"Let’s take one of the biggest drivers: the Earned Income Tax Credit. Based on an idea (the negative income tax) originated by conservative icon Milton Friedman, the EITC is refundable, so that people who work for low wages can not only wipe out their income tax liability, they can even get a cash payment from the government. The EITC was enacted in 1975 under President Ford, greatly expanded in 1986 under President Reagan, and expanded again under presidents Clinton and Bush (both of them). It's been the very model of bipartisan tax policy (which, I suppose, is why some dislike it so)."

"Both the EITC and the child care credit are explicitly designed to encourage people to work—a goal most of us (including Friedman and Ronald Reagan) thought was a very good thing. "

"Let me close with two questions: Do those who reflexively oppose all tax hikes now favor raising taxes on elderly widows and low-income working families? And what would these critics of small government suggest we do with the revenue windfall this tax hike on the poor would generate? Help finance a cut in the estate tax, perhaps? "

"So, as you file your last-minute returns on Tax Day, keep in mind what really is going on with the now-famous 47 percent. It may not be quite what you think."

Incite violence.......

Front page over at Redstate.com

http://www.redstate.com/hogan/2010/03/25/r... /

"Republicans are scared to death of opposing a mandate for coverage of pre-existing conditions. They shouldn’t be. Americans would be better off without such a mandate.

But, despite knowing this, Republicans run scared because they suffer from a dangerous pre-existing condition of their own - and it is fear. The primary symptom is paralysis, resulting from fear of being labeled as hateful when saying “no” to legislation they know full well they should violently oppose"

I wonder how many of the jackasses that are now saying Boss Limpballs is being treated unfairly where just back in 2005 kicking and screaming that George Soros should not be eligible to buy the Washington Nationals ?

From the always right wing fanatic trusted Sun Myung Moon times.....

Byline: Greg Pierce, THE WASHINGTON Sun Myung Moon TIMES

http://www.highbeam.com/doc/1G1-132969790....

Foul ball

How do Republicans and conservatives - sometimes one and the same - feel about left-wing billionaire George Soros' attempt to buy the Washington Nationals?

"Soros is a political thug, and if he becomes an owner of the Nationals, I would recommend they be moved back to Montreal," conservative publicist Craig Shirley told Ralph Z. Hallow of The Washington Times.

Mr. Shirley added: "If Soros gets the Nationals, I think the president of France should throw out the first ball, not President Bush."

Washington-based investor Dale Mitchell Jr., son of the late Cleveland Indians and Brooklyn Dodgers outfielder, would "have pause about supporting the Nationals with Soros as owner. Of course, I have pause anyway - I'm just trying to get my head around the fact that we have a National League team here in this town. I'm an American League guy."

....

"They must have been staying up nights trying to find someone more obnoxious than Peter Angelos," he said. "Seriously, if Peter Angelos and George Soros were the owners of our two teams in this area - oh, my goodness."

Ed Brookover, former National Republican Congressional Committee political director, finds it "mind-boggling to think about the biggest socialist around becoming an owner of a capitalist enterprise, a Major League Baseball team, in the nation's capital. ... In fact, I would not think Major League Baseball would want that controversial an owner in this town."

Tracey Schmitt, Republican National Committee spokeswoman, said of the Bush-bashing leftist's attempt to buy Washington's team, "Since he has failed at both grass-roots politics and legalizing grass, we're not surprised he is spreading some more of his own green in a new endeavor."

But Beltway conservatives wouldn't boycott a Soros team, said R. Emmett Tyrrell Jr., editor in chief of the American Spectator.

"The difference with liberals is that they have the political libidos of a nymphomaniac while conservatives have practically no political libido. Conservatives don't see everything as political. We'll go to the baseball game and not pay attention to who owns the team, though I suppose it would make a difference if the Nazis or the communists owned it. George Soros isn't that extreme - just short of it," he said. ......

Sadly just another display of right wing hipocracy..........
