The current soon-to-be SNAFU'ed Home Page on DU is--er, that is soon-to-be WAS one of the best things on the Internet. It enabled the visitor to get a real overview of what's going on. I loved the Greatest, Latest, Videos, Journals and featured story at the top. From there, depending on time available and my current interest, I could easily dig in where I liked. It was not a hideous mess like at Huff Post, or a conundrum like Daily Kos.

Hear me whistling in the wind:

How about keeping the best home page on the web for what's going on in the world (of relevance to Us folks who have been using it as their daily first read). If it doesn't work well on iPhones and other mobile devices, then don't go there, start with "soapbox" or whatever.

OK and one more thing. "Soapbox" sounds like re-branding, very cutesy. Do we have to go there?

Plea for sympathy: Look, they just closed the friendly little natural foods store that I've been shopping at for 20 years. It's a big loss. I have to change my shopping habits. I'm already suffering. I want my HOME PAGE like it was.

Years ago I ran into someone at a party who had been on the Grand Jury that indicted KBH. They were furious that the charge was dropped by the local DA (Ronnie Earl I believe). They indicated that the case was pretty solid. Then she got elected to her government welfare job for the duration.

For the record, this is all I gleaned from the conversation. No details of facts or deliberations were brought up or discussed.

Technically Perry should be indictable under Texas Law. But then again this is Texas where we execute people based on flimsy evidence, and elect them senator after criminal indictment,

Matthews needs to come out of. I think he is a woman-hating, latent homosexual; not unusual for a crucifix-on-his-sleeve Catholic.

Remember him gushing over "Aqua Velva Fred" Thompson (and BTW do you know any women who think he's attractive)? Last night he was gushing uncontrollably over Obama, weeping for the cruelty of Obama's media ordained rout that was denied him. I am so sick of Tweety's adolescent man-love sandwiched between the undisguised venom he directs toward Hillary. It's more than Clinton hate. It's more than being on the Republican job-security-in-media wagon. He hates her in great part because she is female, and powerful.

Come into the light, Tweety; embrace your feminine side. Your wanton suppression of your own nature is painful to deal with. And while you are at it, shut up and listen half the time, you have little to say anyway.
