Some folks think I made that up. But the record shows the Obama campaign is pursuing a strategy of courting the pity vote.

Here's Obama's Pity Web Page called HillaryAttacks.BarackObama.com. It's about Hillary's alleged "attacks" complete with the commercial of some Susan Klopfer that allegedly changed her support from Hillary to Obama out of pity for Obama. Incidentally, a whois reveals the current registrar of the domain BarckObama.com is Fabulous.com PTY Ltd. Hmm.... Anything you want to know about the official pity strategy for Obama can be found here.

Also to be found at the BarackObama.com website is a pity page entitled "THE HILLARY ATTACKS TIMELINE". This page chronicles every perceived attack on Obama while whining at the same time. You have to wonder how absolutely pitiful the Obama campaign has become.

The HillaryAttacks.BarackObama.com website is part of the official BarackObama.com website. As far as I can find there was never any outcry about Obama making this pity party a part of his website. But, when Hillary launches a website to point out Obama's weaknesses, among others, the MSM jumps all over her campaign with stories like Clinton Launches Obama Attack Web Sites that intentionally put the pity vote for Obama in play.

More pity can be found at the ObamaTimes.com where a story prominently states "Hillary Attacks Obama". Ownership of the domain name ObamaTimes.com is cleverly disguised as being registered to a web hosting company named Abacus America, Inc. which is a web hosting company, presumably the company hosting the ObamaTimes.com pity website.

Want more? How about HillaryAttacks.com? This "blog" claims "I'm just a guy in Las Vegas with a blog -- I'm not affiliated with any political campaign, nor is this web site." Interestingly, a Whois reveals the domain ownership cleverly disguised and hidden using DomainsByProxy.com, probably the original company to register names anonymously. So, safely hidden from daylight, the writer of this blog is free to whine and complain about how Hillary attacks poor Obama and implying that Obama is deserving of the pity of every red-blooded Democrat and American.

Even the rabidly right wing Newsmax.com is caught up in the Obama pity strategy. In an article entitled simply Hillary Attacks Obama, the article talks about Hillary taking Obama to task over his charges over her vote on Kyle/Lieberman. Obama has managed to gain pity while at the same time avoiding an explanation of why he was not present for the vote on Kyle/Lieberman.

Want more Obama pity? Just listen to Hannity or Rush. I wrote in my journal the other day about how it seems everytime I listen to Rush or Hannity I hear about how the mean 'ol Hillary is attacking poor little Obama. They know full well a lot of Democrats like me don't have access to Air America during the day in the car and are stuck with them. So they are playing the pity card for Obama every chance they get.

There's tons more out there if anyone cares to look. Personally, I want a president that can do more than play for someone's pity to get their vote. I don't think the world will respect a president that's pitiful. What will Obama do in November when the Republics really attack him? Use the same pity strategy? Does he or his supporters really think it will work?

If pity is the substance of the Obama campaign, then he's already lost.
