It really doesn't matter who it is, the republicans must do it this way because they have no sell-able ideas or agenda, they have to use other tactics as always lying, cheating & stealing....

The republicans simply want a spokesperson (NOT a brilliant mind, someone who can sell with their corporate bullshit) and set corporate policy all via image....remember how the republican sell it...."no difference between a republican or democrat (they push this every election it helps the republicans immensely) how most people would like to have a beer with Bush...you know good old boy wouldn't hurt a fly until he got in office and did everything possible for the corporations interest over the peoples & workers....REAGAN was exactly the same...no great political mind, but a fine salesman, huckster who sold the country bullshit and CORPORATISM and union busting.

To assume the republicans can't do it with Palin is being as stupid as we Dems have been in the past and still haven't learned a thing about republican tactics....Republicans will use corporate money, their powerful media, the stacked courts along with lies, smears & distortions, the dense single issue voters, to go along with the republicans stealing votes electronically (Dems still haven't done shit about the easily hackable, untraceable voting machines) as well as using voter purging, and other slimy tactics we've seen the republicans use, all to squeeze in another republican huckster robot into the presidency.
