Sun Mar 11th 2007, 03:52 PM I got so tired of hearing this on the talk shows and radio today and this week, so I wrote this to one media outlet:
Regarding the idea that is going around these days that liberals and Democrats are ignoring the fact that Armitage was the original leaker:
Armitage may have been been engaged in nothing more than gossip.
But that does not then absolve everyone else who continued to disseminate the information for purely political purposes of any blame, does it?
I don't think so. Nor does i...

Thu Feb 15th 2007, 02:03 PM I keep hearing it over and over, whether it is from pundits either left or right wing, as well as from politicians across the spectrum.
John Warner supports the non-binding resolution and he is no wild liberal. Pat Robertson acknowledges global warming and he isn't some wild eyed liberal. (no he's a wild eyed fundamentie).
Am I the only one who finds it alarming, because it is discounting the liberal or Democratic perspective as not valid or objective.
The enormous irony is that we all kn...

WASHINGTON, D.C.—U.S. Representative Rahm Emanuel (D-IL) released the following statement on a plan for American forces in Iraq:
“Our generals on the ground in Iraq have a plan for the withdrawal of American forces. The Iraqi government has a plan and timeline for the withdrawal of American forces. The outliers are the Republicans in Congress, who seem more focused on scoring pol...

There are 2 people (Cunningham & Farrakant) who shouldn't get the pension, so it is a really huge, hugely important reform with huge
financial consequences and ethical implications, which can NOT wait for a single day.

I am glad to see that the GOP continues their behavior which led to so many being defeated in November!

Wesley Clark wants to avoid '04 mistake in '08
POSTED: 4:04 p.m. EST, November 28, 2006
"LITTLE ROCK, Arkansas (AP) -- Wesley Clark said Tuesday he wants to avoid waiting too late to make a decision on whether to run for president -- a mistake he made in his failed 2004 bid.
"I think it was clear that I got in too late last time," the retired general and former NATO commander told The Associated Press in an interview.
Clark announced his bid for the Democratic...

Personally as someone with a Masters in Computer Science, I won't feel comfortable with it all until the same kinds of requirements, rigor, risk management is applied to our voting systems that is used with regard to mission critical Space, Defense, and medical equipment software.
Our democracy has been on life support, now upgraded to critical condition, but there is more to be done.
The fact that this election was too overwhelmi...

Reports have indicated that phone calls have been directed across the state from the fictitious "Virginia Elections Commision," threatening voters with arrest if they appear at polling places to vote. Voters are advised that, because of their out of state registrations, voting in Virginia is illegal. However, many of the voters who've been harassed have been registered instate for years..."

"Hours after the polls closed, your exit poll results for VA Senate race changed.
Webb did have 56% among women, and an overall lead based on the distribution.
ie 51% multiplied by 56 + 49% multiplied by what his percentage for males was gave a total of about 51% for Webb.
How is it possible for exit polls to change hours after the polls closed?
I'm remembering how the exit polls all flipped, or was it the final results that flipped sudd...

Thu Nov 02nd 2006, 10:39 PM The long arm of the law is reaching out, appropriately, for so many of them.
George Allen and crew are in line for that brawl.
I didn't think a "tough" person would sound so slow and stupid, not a truly tough individual.
But of course that ain't Senator Macaca.

Fri Oct 27th 2006, 12:28 PM Coming up on OPEN ENROLLMENT!!
It came in the mail yesterday. So here is what is happening to my Medicare D (which I get cause I'm on disability):
Monthly premium is going up $20 a month, they've stuck in a gap of $1,450 (after you hit $2400 and until you hit $3850 of covered medications) during which period you pay 100% for your meds other than "preferred generic" meds.
This was one of the few plans that did NOT have this kind of gap.
Not sure if the formulary is also decreased, they woul...

I just made another contribution myself, probably about the last chance to make them.
I'm in Arizona, but anyone who wants to help, please do so. I'm so sick of seeing Kyl doing the GOP talking points and
pretending to be the good guy here back home in the debates etc.
I still think it possible that Pederson can defeat Frist's clone named Kyl.
More contributions will allow for more ads.

Jon Kyl's tv ads all tend to say that he himself wrote a bill or created legislation or got the Supreme Ct of Arizona to change a decision.

His latest is more disturbing. He tries to portray himself as a big expert on terrorism.
He cites the Moussauoi case, claiming that searching the hard drive of his computer was blocked, and guess who _ Kyl_ wrote the new law that now allows for such searches.

Please act on this. The act originated with the Civil Rights Movement, it is up for renewal now. It must not be allowed to expire or to be watered down by amendments.
Ask your Congressman to vote for H.R. 9, and to oppose all amendments.
The amendments will only thwart the purpose of the Act.
Along with Evoting being a problem, disenfranching minorities who vote Democratic is the other big ploy of the GOP.
