It didn't have to be this way. These tax cuts expiring has been known since that fucking monkeyman put them in place. We held all the power and we didn't do jack fucking shit about it. Now, at half past the eleventh hour, we find ourselves negotiating with the repubicans?

See, that's the problem. No one was ever *really* espousing letting the middle class tax cuts expire. And to have *that* as your debating point today is disingenuous obfuscation. Everyone wanted them extended. And maybe even increased. But Oh Noes. The repubicans won't allow it.

The people who are angry today are the people who think there was a better way that needed only one thing to make it happen.

We haven't had any. Instead, the can got kicked and kicked. Other priorities. And now we're going to BUY a tax cut extension for the bargain price of Three Quarters Of A Fucking Trillion Dollars.

THAT is what people are pissed off about. So take that "you don't care about the middle class" talking point and go back to message central. THAT talking point is dead on arrival.
