I have pointedly left the teevee and the radio silent today. I've also pretty much stayed out of DU and off the internets. I have plenty of real work to do, so it is hardly a sacrifice. But it sure as hell is blissful ignorance.

I don't know what's going on in Pennsylvania and even better I have no idea what the manufactured outrage du jour is.

Ignorance, sometimes, really is bliss.

Now to the wishes.

I wish Obama would just kick the shit out of Clinton and end this prolonged, angry, ugly primary season. If he beats her in Pennsylvania, she has NO way to spin going on with her campaign.

And we can go on to beating the crap out of McCain.

Like we should have been for the last two months or more.

A small, vengeful part of me, however, wants to see her win by 20 points or more. Not to get the nomination, but to watch the heads of those very few really vitriolic, fire breathing, hate filled, ugliness spewing Obama enthusiasts explode.

But I'll settle for my blissful ignorance.
