I really need this daily DU shot so I can start being optimistic again about the US.

It's was difficult for a (socialist - not communist) European (Amsterdam, The Netherlands) like me who was just watching the regular mainstream news media resources (NOT Fox) to not declare all Americans idiots (Sorry!). The war, the School shootings (Gun Laws, NRA, Mr. Alzheimer C. Heston) - Health Care system/situation - Schooling - Death Penalty issues etc. etc.

Please know I'm not saying Europe, or Holland is paradise - we've our (government) problems too!

I love Michael Moore, I'm a big guy (6'6") but I am not ashamed to tell you that I was crying at the end of 'SiCKO' when I saw those 9/11 rescue workers needed to go to Cuba to get proper health care.

But DU is great, I read great stories and replies from great people! I've been many times in the US and I love the country, and now I'm start loving (most of) the people again!
