I'm gaining on my money problems. I was stuck in Texarkana for the winter. The trucker I was supposed to work for during that time was in a minor wreck and he couldn't work. Therefore, I was out of a job and already 1800 miles from home, living in my car for a month until I could find a super cheep apartment. Last years long escort still hasn't paid me. That was the exact amount I was behind on my jeep payments. The bank refused my request to add the past due amount to the backside of my loan and repossessed my escort vehicle. Again causing me to become unable to work for any other trucking company. I did buy a used car in Texas that I planned to use for work but alas ~ New York has changed the requirements for escort cars. A car must be 1997 or newer. The one I am paying on is way too old to comply with the current (updated) laws. Again I am unable to escort in NY until I can replace this car. I didn't know.

I was stuck in Muscle Shoals for the Spring. The good part of this is ~ a trucking company in Alabama is putting together an escort car for me to drive starting sometime next month. Until then I am packing-out frozen food and dairy products on the 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM shift to buy groceries for the fam here in NY.

My doctor is about to add to my financial burden. It looks like I'm going to need a prescription for something to control the diabetic condition that developed while I was broke and away from home.

This Southern Peach, who really is a FreeBird will be taking Miss Frodo out on the road for awhile.
I missed her as much as I missed my home for the 8 months I was gone.
