Did you all see the current internet poll on Foxnews.com?
This tactic will be familiar to a lot of us who have seen "Outfoxed" and been noticing their techniques used against us.
What Is the Tea Party Movement About?
o Small government and fiscal responsibility
o Exposing Democrats' socialist agenda
o Voicing outrage at out-of-touch politicians
o Fruitless mix of racism, conspiracy theories
o Other (add your comment)
Split up the "positive" (actually, lukewarm) responses three ways then have a big, mega insulting negative choice, which is how THEY want it to come out. Currently 83% see tea parties as a "fruitless mix of racism, conspiracy theories."
FRUITLESS! That will be their meme in coming weeks re: the tea parties they once hyped and promoted so shamelessly, why?
I think the BS internet poll was in response to a scientific Fox Poll in January, that they don't want to talk much about:
http://www.foxnews/projects/pdf/012110_pol... 18. What about if the candidates were: (ROTATE NAMES)
Democrat A candidate from the (Don’t
Barack Obama Tea Party Movement (Other) (Wouldn't vote) (don'tknow)
12-13 Jan 10 48% 23 5 5 18
Democrats 84% 3 1 1 11
Republicans 14% 46 8 9 23
Independents 43% 26 6 4 21
TEA PARTIES ARE A TOTAL DISASTER FOR REPUBLICANS! Watch for the "fruitless" tea party propaganda to start heating up on Fox.
Thing is -- those freepers are so drunk with power over this idea of putting a "real conservative" (read: total nutcase) in every race in the primaries, I don't think they can be talked into the idea of voting for Romney or some other advocate for the super-rich, who of course Fox will be pushing on them with the usual scare tactics, misinformation and nonsense. Having Palin shill for the status quo GOPers (Perry, McCain) getting a pretty cool response from the freepers.
The party's over and as they say in the McDonald's commercials: I'm lovin' it!
