Somebody stepped up to throw the best and INCLUSIVE prom the town ever had....

I remember once when Steve Martin read that a school had cancelled a production of one of his plays that the students were ready to perform because of some dumb fundie type reason, and he rented a venue and let them put on the play that way.

Similar thing, while I'm fantasizing, can we get like the Black Eyed Peas or somebody to play the gig? For the cause of tolerance over bigotry? Any DU well connected millionaires or rock stars out there?

Apparently the anonymous little troll who churns out disinfo for the GOP never rests, coming soon from an ignorant freeper near you: bullshit "facts" about Social Security!

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-blogge...

Franklin Roosevelt, a Democrat, introduced the Social Security (FICA) Program. He promised:

1.) That participation in the Program would be Completely voluntary,

No longer Voluntary

2.) That the participants would only have to pay 1% of the first $1,400 of their annual Incomes into the Program,

Now 7.65%

3.) That the money the participants elected to put into the Program would be deductible from their income for tax purposes each year,

No longer tax deductible

4.) That the money the participants put into the independent 'Trust Fund' rather than into the general operating fund, and therefore, would only be used to fund the Social Security Retirement Program, and no other Government program, and,

"Jay sitting back there thinking:
It was MY show that launched Schwartenegger for Governor...
...And it's MY show that's launching President Palin
Life is good! "

"She will surely kick Senator Obama clear to the curb in 2012, and then some--he will be on the next flight back to Nairoibi.

I am sure the toilets are flushing in the Family Quarters of the Executive Mansion right now, with multiple streams of nervous, presidential urine--even though they will deny through Gibbs that they watched. This cannot be good for them."

These are some of the craziest & most delusional comments ever -- even for FR!

"NERVOUS PRESIDENTIAL URINE??" From Quitter being on LENO??

LOL....OMG, these people are just so bizarre.

Can you imagine Bush or really ANY Republican WANTING a meaningful debate on a complex subject?

The only "debate" they want to have is to go on "friendly media" (Fox or whatever) and bark a bunch of misleading sound bites. In depth discussions? REPUBLICANS? They just don't "do" complicated. Or reality either, for that matter. The decider decides because he's the decider and it's his job to "do the right thing." And that's IT. That's how it was on every important policy issue in the long, dark Bush era.

I'm really proud of the President today.

Former Governor Sarah Palin real reason for quitting as governor was she had done everything she promised to do. Job well done. Time to move on and make sure the things you did in Alaska stayed in place or are achieved and not stopped by Washington.

(No Governor in history has done more in three years for their state)

From the Minors to the Majors, and who as Governor was "MPV" all three years running, needs to be brought up!

Brought up to get the pipeline done, for the people, not only for Alaska, but America! To stop the liberals from throwing in the red tape on the pipe line and on America’s energies supplies.

Small government, lower taxes, less government regulations, more freedom, ---That’s what Governor Palin did for Alaska and with the help of GOD, we the people (Praying for GOD Guidance), and President Palin will do for America!

This Lady is ready, the fans are in place. The lame street media is pushing back,

PLAYBALL !!!!

Did you all see the current internet poll on Foxnews.com?

This tactic will be familiar to a lot of us who have seen "Outfoxed" and been noticing their techniques used against us.

What Is the Tea Party Movement About?
o Small government and fiscal responsibility
o Exposing Democrats' socialist agenda
o Voicing outrage at out-of-touch politicians
o Fruitless mix of racism, conspiracy theories
o Other (add your comment)

Split up the "positive" (actually, lukewarm) responses three ways then have a big, mega insulting negative choice, which is how THEY want it to come out. Currently 83% see tea parties as a "fruitless mix of racism, conspiracy theories."

FRUITLESS! That will be their meme in coming weeks re: the tea parties they once hyped and promoted so shamelessly, why?

I think the BS internet poll was in response to a scientific Fox Poll in January, that they don't want to talk much about:

http://www.foxnews/projects/pdf/012110_pol...

18. What about if the candidates were: (ROTATE NAMES)
Democrat A candidate from the (Don’t
Barack Obama Tea Party Movement (Other) (Wouldn't vote) (don'tknow)
12-13 Jan 10 48% 23 5 5 18
Democrats 84% 3 1 1 11
Republicans 14% 46 8 9 23
Independents 43% 26 6 4 21

TEA PARTIES ARE A TOTAL DISASTER FOR REPUBLICANS! Watch for the "fruitless" tea party propaganda to start heating up on Fox.

Thing is -- those freepers are so drunk with power over this idea of putting a "real conservative" (read: total nutcase) in every race in the primaries, I don't think they can be talked into the idea of voting for Romney or some other advocate for the super-rich, who of course Fox will be pushing on them with the usual scare tactics, misinformation and nonsense. Having Palin shill for the status quo GOPers (Perry, McCain) getting a pretty cool response from the freepers.

The party's over and as they say in the McDonald's commercials: I'm lovin' it!

Check it out, there is a guy challenging McCain in the primary who's 100% tea party across the board.

http://www.ontheissues.org/House/J_D__Hayw...

I know, what a lunatic! However every single stance reflects the conned-servative "values" Sarahcuda holds so, SO dear.

However she is backing hated "RINO" McCain. Bwahahaha! Hey Tea Partyers, you've been had!

Actually I'm convinced that Sarah's purpose at FauxCo is to make damn sure those Freepers stay riled up so they don't sit out 2012 because they are running Mitt or some other damn corporatist and she has been tapped to ONCE AGAIN make the Freepers "vote for the lesser of two evils" as they always do.

They're like Lucy and the football, they'll fall for it every time. And they'll give Sarah money to play them for fools!

Bwahahaha!

Is the Larry Craig kind -- I actually had a case of this in my family, my now 75 year old aunt, who was from an extremely sheltered, rural environment married at 16 and had a hell of a bad time with it. Her husband travelled for work and from the beginning she felt that he was not really interested in her. Of course her self-esteem took a beating and she thought something was wrong with her, etc. Years later a friend told her the truth. He was living a double life and had a boyfriend in the neighboring state, where his job took him frequently.

Does anybody really think THAT was "the good old days?" Let's just stop punishing people for their sexual orientation, the lies destroy a lot of lives and not just those of gay people.

If they can order Catholic lawmakers to make laws forcing EVERYONE to follow Catholic rules you're nuts to think it ends with this issue. Can a Catholic drug store clerk sell condoms? Can Catholic lawyer assist a client with a divorce settlement? Can a Catholic pharmacist fill a birth control prescription? And what the hell every happened to "free will" doctrine in the Catholic Church where these sanctimonious GOP operatives attempt to limit EVERYONE's free will by inserting themselves in to politics and civil affairs. Blech! Disgusting! That Tweety interview sure made me glad I got our of that church.

A friend just posted this POS 'DON'T COPY EUROPE'S MISTAKES ON HEALTHCARE' on her facebook, of course funded by some fundie "non profit organization."

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RZum_o-GAEI

It's so full of simplistic, cherry-picked "facts" and "conclusions" it boggles the mind. Of course this and other corporate-backed orgs put out OCEANS AND OCEANS of this propaganda, do you think it is worth arguing against it, or do you just figure anybody following that logic just WANTS to think this way?
