My brother was in Nam in the late 60's (not a good time, none of it was. Hated yhat "war"). He learned how to smoke pot freely over there. He has PTSD, and smoked until 4 years ago. Got off everything, started excersing his butt off and eating healthy. There is no such thing as an X-Marine.

I feel like my life has not been a waste anymore ...

I am 63 - fought for Civil Rights, Women's rights, ERA, Gay Rights, AntiWar activist (my brother fought in Viet Nam and has not been the same since)... Saw the assassination of JFK, Bobby, Martin and John Lennon - and the pain was indescribable.

Was a union rep for 17 years -in the largest womens union in the world (AFA, etc.

So I liken this victory as a full circle in my life.

I am a PROUD AMERICAN DEMOCRAT living in a red state.

I loved seeing the families of both and just loved Joe's mother. She was dressed to the 9's and is so tiny... and Joe was so protective.

Love to Joe.

and voted for Barak Obama. I think Tx will be pink or lavender by the end of the voting process. I sure wish it were blue, but there are too many people who support folks like delay, perry, Cronin, hutchison, etc. (no caps on their names).

Where is Molly Ivins and Ann Richards when we desperately need them. (RIP) At least we still have outspoken Hightower.

Hi to you 'Horse with no name'!
