Please dial my phone number
Oh service guy, oh service guy
Please dial my phone number

I'll wait right here until you call
My wash machine did take the fall

Oh service guy, oh service guy
Please dial my phone number

I'm almost out of underwear
The pile's high and I do care

Oh service guy, oh service guy
Please dial my phone number.

Up and down off the bed all night long - the boikatz were running around like their hair was on fire.

And Reese decided to go all "ride em Bronco" on Mouse's back.

I would have been quite amused if it had not been 4 in the morning.

One of the things my daughter has had to catch up on is writing sentences for her high frequency words. One of her high frequency words was "hard".

I had her write, "Homework is hard!"

My daughter gets, in my opinion, way too much homework for a first grader. This has come to be a real problem because we are playing catch up from when she was out for a week with pneumonia. We are still not caught up, and will not be until the end of next week because she gets caught up. We have been doing homework every day this week for three hours a day. Last week we did homework for an hour and a half every day after school. She is 6 years old and in first grade.

It is getting more and more difficult to motivate her, because all we do is work. I am totally at my wits end.

My daughter's condition took a bad turn at around 8PM. High fever, not breathing well.

She has pneumonia.

This is Mouse - He is ginormous

This is Reese - He is FLUFFFFFFFY

I have seen each of them for a grand total of 10 minutes today.

I am a little worried. They have not eaten anything since they have been here.

God grant me the anxiety
to try to control the things I cannot control,
the fear to avoid the things I can,
and the neurosis to deny the difference.

There is a Mitt Romney ad running here in California that is attacking Hillary Clinton. Granted Hillary Clinton was not the candidate I wanted, but Romney has not even won the Rethug nomination yet. I think it is a bit premature to be running ads against the candidates across the aisle.

How do people get a sense of entitlement?

I was at the ATM and the bank today, and I overheard an exchange between a "lady" (she was no lady) and a man. Apparently the "lady" was going into the bank, and the man was coming out. The man opened the door and proceded to walk out of the bank. The "lady" then launched into him for not holding the door for her, because she was a "lady", and she cast all sorts of aspersions on the man's manners. She was in no way unable to open and hold the door for herself, except for the fact that she believes the XX chromosome set affords her the luxury of guilting and shaming any man she comes into contact with that does not "do the gentlemanly thing, whatever the fuck that is".

I called her on it and told her she was incredibly rude. I wish my brain had been along for the ride because in retrospect I would have told her that "polite ladies" do not call attention to the shortcomings of others.
