I was a little shocked myself by the obvious disdain towards the one thing that makes human beings civilized.
They are anti-conscience, and they are out to demonize and diminish social conscience all-together, and they have been very successful at achieving their goal.
And I will always admire your ability to condense it into these short and valuable OPs.
I agree with your daughter, and have thought the same thing for years. Citizens should be entitled to certain, non vanity, interest free loans from the government, especially since the fractional reserve of the banksters is (for all piratical purposes) mostly none existent or illusory. I.e. privately owned banks creating money out of thin air to which they add interest.
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that what these criminal banksters have accomplished is nothing short of converting the products of working class labor into a piece of paper, that is nothing more than an "I owe you" covered with ideological words.
To make a long story short... The banksters own the products of labor, via paper, of people who are living as well as those who are yet to be born. And this is the way it will remain as long as people support a government that demands they work the resources of the land, bust their asses off, shed their blood sweat and tears, in exchange for worthless pieces of paper that are owned by criminal banksters.
I wonder if at one time they tried using magic beans for currency, that would make for a good money system. At least until some fool lost his beens while walking down a dirt road. Then we all would be rich, and we can't have that...

He could just wrap himself in a different flag and he would be right at home, he would have lots of idle worshipers, and wouldn't have to worry about being prosecuted.
And it was obvious to whom Obama would serve once he was elected, and it wasn't the working class base he was preaching too.
Politicians have been able to get away with lying for so long, that their lying has become a cultural norm.
Truth is that, Americans have been swallowing the lies of politicians for so long, that we could be called the "People of the Lie".
Turns out, lying is the best tool Oligarchs have for turning honest working class people into debt slaves.
Of course, they hand pick the politicians that most of us get to vote for in our pretend democracy, in an attempt to legitimatize the lies that make them richer, and the rest of us indentured servants and cannon fodder.
There were plenty of clues during the Presidential Primary that showed that he was pro-bankster, pro-Wall Street, pro-free trade, pro-Israel and pro-Republican.
I don't think things can change for the better as long as people don't understand their own psychology, and that of the oligarchs, or what I like to refer to as the predator class.
I for one was not the least bit surprised when Obama turned out to be, an in the closet Reaganite - running as a Democrat.
I wasn't surprised because I had been studying the psychology of predators who are masters when it comes to pathological lying and leading their victims into perilous times.
I had also discovered that American culture accepts and participates in some really big fraudulent lies.
For instance the legalized pyramid schemes we call our banking and financial systems.
And then there’s the free trade policies of exporting American jobs to countries who treat workers like slaves. Some of these countries we helped overthrow, because they were on the side of sharing the countries wealth with its workers.
And then there’s the supporting of (with cash and weapons) a certain right wing religious tyranny who is committing genocide on its indigenous population.
This list is by no means complete, but the three items listed are things that most Americans have grown accustom to, and as long as it isn’t immediately inimical to their best interest, their all to willing to accept and live the lie.

Is Obama living the lies, and is he just one individual amongst the “People of the Lie”, or is he on the side of the predator class, and knowingly perpetuating this class warfare fraud on the American people?
Either way, his actions put him in the company of erroneous thinking conservatives and predators, i.e. the Republican Party and the predator class.
The point is that, people need to know some plane and simple truths about certain lies that we have all grown accustom too: live and die for. And if they knew the truth and a little bit about character disorders, they might ask themselves. Why is this politician perpetuating these lies?
Maybe what should have been said is that, their psychopath "score of 8", is higher then the average psychopath that is locked up behind bars with a score of "3".
Of course no won would want to officially admit that the existence of psychopaths within the financial and political systems is a real problem, or that this problem is at the core of world wide economic destruction.
Police recruiters look for thugs that aren't too smart, have little or no conscience, can follow the orders of superior thugs, and are prone to violence but have avoided being prosecuted for criminal behavior. Someone who joined the military to avoid prison would be a perfect candidate for many police forces throughout the country.
America has surpassed the point of putting the fox in-charge of guarding the hen-house, we are now the taxpaying sheep that pay wolves to guard the house of wolves, while they eat sheep for dinner. And with mustered too...
Of course, all things being connected, my guess is that this is one of the many consequences of putting the people who destroyed the economy in-charge of the economy. Go figure!
It's amazing how fucking backwards American justice has become, but then, this is what happens when psychopaths rise to the top of the food chain.
And it's as plane as day once you've studied the research, and know what to look for.
But you also have to understand how normal people interact with psychopaths in order to understand how much trouble the human race is really in.
Who hasn't heard the old sayings that: "All politicians are liars," "all politicians are crooks," and then for some magical very well understood reasons..., people support, idealize, and vote for the lesser evil.
If the majority of the population would take the time to read a few books on the subject, these liars and crooks would be behind bars where they belong, and not running the government, corporations, religion, or media. And they would not be in the positions to destroy the lives of hundreds of millions of people with with absolute impunity.
