And we must also be sober in our understanding; we are the enemies of tyranny, and we are the solders of truth, the shifters of paradigms and our numbers are growing. And the time will come when the many who don’t understand, will have no other choice but too face the facts.
The pictures are a chilling metaphor, as they speak to the character which has taken over our political collective; and the office of the President is the face of the political collective; i.e. the caricature representation as a whole; in that sense I don’t see it as a judgment of Obama’s personal character, although he now ware’s the top hate of a two party system of government that has become monolithically corrupted by very powerful predators; and there should be no illusions if this is the case, the power of the Presidency as well as Congress is limited to do good by the proportion of predators in all three branches of government which have equal powers. Of course the idea of equal powers was to guard against the rise of a single tyrant, but it’s obvious that the equal powers had little affect against the rise of a collective tyranny who now use their powers and the elusion of Democracy, via the M$M, too guard against the rise of conscience or a real Democracy. So the burden of setting things strait will ultimately be with the voters who are beginning to wake up to the facts, and once we have a majority that can truly see the character of those who control the media, and consequently, who we vote for in elections; things will begin to change. Of course the predators also know this, and they have been very busy entertaining, dumbing down, terrorizing, looting and bankrupting the country simultaneously; you might say that this is their way of preparing for the day when “We the People” finally wake up…, and that day isn’t going to be pretty! And thanks for link; it seems as if there is a never ending supply of conscience people coming out, so as the light may shine on the dark side of the beast; it's just a matter of more people excepting it; somethings they can't continue to ignore forever…

“The let’s putt lipstick on a pig health care plane so as we can call it bipartisan reform!”
And maybe we shouldn’t be talking about the need for change or the… you did it their way so let’s try it my way song and dance; because when and if change ever comes, it has the predictable tenacity too benefit..; not the screwed over time and again debt slaves of society, but rather the one’s we are indebted too! And maybe we shouldn’t talk about how doing the right thing with health care would be viewed as an evil act of socialism towards the capitalist debt masters who wont be happy until they own every fucking thing and every fucking one; after all, it seems as though someone believes that it is their monolithic god given laws of nature natural right; because that's the way it is.., and I could assume that that’s what their bought and paid for venal politicians would have us believe as to why nothing really changes much for the better, no matter how hard they try to do what is right; but we have to believe that they are doing everything humanly possible to do what is best for us all; otherwise we would feel like total dumb asses because we keep on electing and reelecting them vie the information we get from the corporately owned, conservative biased, fraud, propaganda, fake news, entertainment machine.., aka the M$M (main stream media)… Let me end this by saying that, the most important thing is that we don’t start believing the obvious… ![]() …and who knows, maybe everything will turn out just fine. And had I not read and studied books like “Ponerology” and “The Authoritarians” I would be lost for words to describe what is now in my mind; the crystal clear picture of Pathocracy and the understanding as too why people succumb to the antics of predators who have gained positions of authority, that they can pressure people of conscience through fear - engendered by authority - to bear false witness against the innocent, so as some predators remain free to terrorize the herd, while others remain free too define and control the political and legal systems; this is how we know - why we need them. But still, if all I had was a conscience and was concerned about the injustice, I might sense that there was something amiss with these systems of government, although I would never be able to put my finger on it because that’s the way evil works; when individuals who have no conscience become the arbitrators of truth and justice, such things become a matter of paralogical, paramoral and para-acceptable opinion; first by those who have taken over the roles of leadership, and then by those who must make a cruel decision… When the law has lost its moral compass; do I lower my moral standards and obey, or do I loose respect for the law and the predators that control it so as they alone can defy it as they see fit, and to use it to cover their own incompetent and lawless tracks?

It doesn’t mater what political ideology you believe in; if it is assailable to the spellbinding affects; the predations and antics of predators, it will ultimately fail in its original purpose, which is to protect the majority of society from a minority of predators.
Of course it is only natural; that the psychologically impoverished authoritarian followers who lack in any understanding of the psychology of predators, that they should be totally misled by the esthetic facade and erroneous double speak of those who wrap themselves in patriotic and religious symbols so as they can dictate the world views too a naďve and gullible following; dictating that the followers should judge the ideologies of others by the corrupted misgivings which lead to failure, as if the individual caricatures to which the ideology fell victim, as well as the death, destruction and eventual abandon are results of the ideology itself; and so the façade of fallen tyrants unmasked remains the symbolic fear of a failed states ideology, thus perpetuating the pretense that certain ideologies give rise to tyranny, when in-fact, all ideologies have the inherent potential of failing and will fall victim to what social predators love best; and that is tyranny… K&R Larry

And maybe the reason that Kucinich is unsuccessful at passing any significant legislation is that most politicians are in the pockets of corporate lobbyist who financed their campaigns. So a lot of politicians have passed significant legislation that is both horrendous and inimical to the majority of American and world citizens, although it is very beneficial to corporate profits. So if one were to measure the quality of good legislation that never gets passed, over the quantity of shitty legislation that gets passed; you might reach the same conclusion, although you might also have a much more enlightened perspective as to why things are so screwed up.

and he didn’t care because he always had the support of what really counted, i.e. big money, the M$M (main stream media) and a spineless congress that worked for the big money interest.
Obama was elected via the M$M and has the support of big money interest, a spineless congress that still works for the big money interest and the majority of people that were under the illusion that he was going to change how Washington works. Of course, any attempt to do the right thing will not have the support of big money interest or the bought and paid for spineless congress… But maybe they will put on a good show and we the sheepeople will be content when we get nothing more than lipstick on a pig. Of course if we don't like the corporate offers they can just shut the Country down and then what are we going to do; seeing as how the U.S. no longer has a manufacturing base, I don't know what the working class has to bargain with.

and he got what he wanted and all but destroyed this country.
So if we would have elected a President instead of a shop steward maybe he could use the same powers to do some good. But then if that were to happen the American people would see how fast congress would put impeachment on the table…

I bet if they would try polling in some homeless camps, tent cities and food lines they would get some really depressing results.

And as usual, all they got was a change of face… But unfortunately we have the corporately owned conservative biased fraud propaganda fake news entertainment machine, aka the M$M; and that’s how they keep us effectively divided, dumb downed, ready to kill, entertained and believing that we have the best two party system money can buy within our fake democracy. I guess now I’m supposed to say ![]() And here’s a testimony too our corporately owned two party system. ![]()

But then, what would we be looking at if we were really cynical and pissed off at what these people are doing in our name, while claiming it is for our benefit? Well I guess we could say something like; these criminals are conspiring to commit and conceal crimes against humanity, and the only questions we need to ask before deciding their punishment is… Are they accessories before the fact, or are they accessories after the fact?
Of course none of this really maters does it; after all, when and if predators find themselves the lawmakers amongst a superpower empire, they can deem such activities selectively legal, and the prerogative of those who represent the State, i.e. themselves, this way such things become legal for some while remaining illegal for most! After all, this is what a pretend democracy is all about! Right?

So how much a lie is mine?
Anything our political leaders tell us couldn’t possible be based on lies, after all, the evidence is clear that; truth is the religion of consensus, and dictated by the unelected powers that be (UPTB) and their corporately owned conservative biased, fraud, propaganda, fake news and entertainment machine, aka the M$M; and the venal politicians that are allowed too use this pulpit on the path to election, must champion and validate a myriad of manufactured truths and myths that spew from the dens of thieves, so as to give it the effect of being the monolith of objectivity, justice and noble causes. And the manufactures of truth are also the controllers of political debate, the deciders of our elections, and the keepers of indoctrinated paradigms taught in our so called educational institutions. Unfortunately truth and elections in America no longer has anything to do with actual facts, honesty nor love of justice, as it is all about consensus and faith in what we are told… Faith that our politicians would never lie to or deceive us; faith that a bunch of Neanderthal knuckle dragging cave dwellers hate us for our freedom; faith that they hate Jews, Christians and Americans just for the sake of hating; faith that we armed and trained them and now fight and kill them all in the name of freedom and Democracy; faith that there leaders were not once the tyrannical products and puppets of American intervention; faith that our chickens didn’t come home to roost on 911; and faith that it has nothing to do with the fact that these war shattered countries are soaked with the blood of innocence as well as saturated with the property of those who plunder for noble causes - Shell, Exxon, Mobile oil et al and etc; but most important to what we believe as being true, is that there be a consensus in our faith towards our leaders as well as the dark blood soaked paths of plunder they have us faithfully follow. So much so has our trust and faith in our leaders been violated by false pretenses which have led us away from the truth and too the aid of repressive tyrants; faith and trust has been turned into lethal weapons of mass deception; faith has become the antithesis of understanding, and trust the resolve of fools. The consequences of faith and trust have been unjustifiable death and destruction in far off lands and we the sheepeople get the bill… Larry

As apposed to hiding the knowledge from the masses, that predators of a dark underworld have taken over their government and are pulling the strings of public opinion for political (read) personal gain. Of course this would have been an impossible task without having control over the fourth estate whose ideological purpose was once about providing citizen oversight of the government? Personally I don’t think this pretend democracy is at all what it is cracked up to be. After all, what benefit is there in reveling over some stiffy inducing song and dance puppet head when national security is still being used to protect those who are screwing us all…

as I had decided to blow the whistle on my employer (to no avail) which happened to be the corrupt corporation that was contracted to run and rip off the tax payer funded City of Phoenix Transit system. And this is not an attempt to change the subject of the OP but rather a reflection of some epiphany I had around the year 1980. The understanding that I learned from the experience of fighting City Hall encompassed a simple question, “If cave man had modern technology, what would the world be like?” The answer was of course and still is reminiscent of the predatory savagery displayed by those who relentlessly pursue positions of wealth, political power and resources, with out consideration or empathy towards those of whom or what they seek to totally dominate. Although I doubt that cavemen were as vicious as their contemporary counter parts i.e. conservatives!
So what I learned in a totally unrelated experience to unjustifiable war is that a certain character type avoids justice by being at the core of injustice, or more simply put, being above the law. I also learned that humans, who are under and suffer the law for the sake of justice, have this incredible capacity to forget the past and to ignore the present; this is for the most part the effect of being uninformed and misinformed while not having a clue. Conditions that we would expect from our ancient ancestors that lived in caves! Right? So why are the American people so uniformed and misinformed amidst an epoch of information technology; and who benefits from us being kept in a state of Neanderthal awareness; when in the real world innocence is served up for the slaughter on a daily bases in the name of some noble cause? Now it’s obvious that no one can come up with a believable answer to this question, so let me end this cynical paradox of a rant by giving homage to the unelected powers that be (UPTP), their corporately owned conservative biased fraud propaganda fake news and entertainment machine (aka the M$M), and let’s not forget the politicians of whom we would never elect if not for the contributions of their uppity (UPTP) masters; but most of all let’s not forget about the incredible wealth that is stolen from the many so as those who plunder for a living can finance their world empire and - at their pleasure - make cannon fodder and slaves out of whom so ever they choose… And that’s the way it is! It does look like that some times; I’m not a corrupt evil bastard who doesn’t care about anyone who hasn’t been corporately personified, I’m just controlling my empathy so I can do what’s right for my corporate masters -- oops I mean the American People.
What was especially obvious with the Sotomayor hearings; the Republicans were adamant about empathy somehow being detrimental to the process of justice, as if ones conscience would get in the way of our monolithic theological pretend democracy legal system, and we must ensure that judges can check their conscience in at the door, or even better yet, not have a conscience at al, and then that way the judges will be able to sleep at night and always favor the law no mater how corrupt it becomes. I agree, what ever show of love or empathy that comes from a psychopath is just that; a show. But they do however know what it is in the sense that it gives them the ability to masterfully mimic these feelings externally, so as they can blend in and manipulate their unsuspecting victims; there’s a term called “the mask of sanity” and on occasion the psychopath will show their true colors, but people not knowing the psychology behind it won’t easily pick up on the clues…

It’s an instinct that affects the way you interact with your fellow human beings, and having empathy for a victim of a crime doesn’t mean that you will not do everything in your power to stop and prosecute the criminal. So these criminals infiltrate political and legal system for the purpose of decriminalizing their activities to the point where these systems no longer protect the general welfare of the majority; and when the legal system lacks empathy it has a tendency to blame and or criminalize the victims while embellishing the criminal, especially if the criminal is very wealthy.
