...and that was to ruin the labor movement.
I don't think for a minute that corporate America would entertain any objective that would cut into their profits (even short-term) and their absolute control of employees.
I also believe that that philosophy is short-sighted. In many cases, unions would help productivity and efficiency.
Unfortunately, the model most feared in the auto industry. No, it wasn't the lack of innovation, poor quality, and an absolute disregard for the market demand that hurt the auto industry, it was the unions!
