That's why flying has become ridiculously inconvenient. We all have absurd stories about our experiences in airports lately, I'm sure - I know I do.

Want it to go away? Stop flying. I know it's very difficult, but if enough people turned their backs on this sort of nonsense, we would have compentant security and safe travel.

Did you see the pictures of the bins and bins of "contreband" seized at the gates in the past few days? Does ANY of this stuff really cause a security problem?? NO!

Incompentance at it's highest degree of disruption of normalcy.
