Did you know that McCain's sister married into the JP Morgan family? I didn't either until a little while ago. See, since McCain wants to play the "who is associated with whom" game, I decided to play along and see what I could dig up.
Here's what I found. John has an older sister whose married name is Sandy McCain Morgan. Sandy is married to retired Rear Admiral Henry S. Morgan, a great-grandson of JP Morgan.
Here is how I pieced it together. First I had to find out who Sandy McCain was. The wikipedia is a little short on information. In fact, here is her entire entry:
Sandy McCain Morgan (b. 1934) is the older sister of John McCain. Like her brother, she was born in the Panama Canal Zone. She graduated with an A.B. in American Civilization from Pembroke College in Brown University.
Her most notable foray into politics was in defense of John McCain when he was criticized by George W. Bush for his alleged indifference to funding for breast cancer research. Morgan herself is a survivor of the disease.

Obviously she's been married at some point in her life, so I started looking for wedding announcements and found one from the NYT. It lists the mother of the bride as "Alexandra Morgan" from Maryland. But since Alexandra has a brother named John McCain, who is a Senator from Arizona, I determined that Sandy’s real name is Alexandra and that she is married to a retired Rear Admiral named Henry S. Morgan.

Since I had luck with the wedding announcements, I thought I'd look again. But this time I was looking for the wedding announcements of any children of a "Henry S. Morgan" from Maryland. I found this one, also from NYT, in 1991.

Does anyone know if the Morgan family is still currently involved with JP Morgan & Chase or other Morgan financial entities? If so, to what extent? And what benefits did the House of Morgan receive from the bail out?
