Mon Oct 26th 2009, 10:57 PM They could refuse to hire these "pharmacists" based on a loss of revenue. Before hiring these "pharmacists" they could ask where they stand on these issue.
And if enough corporations did this then that would force these "pharmacists" to seek employment elsewhere, perhaps Pat Robertson could open pharmacies. Also women who are denied their prescriptions from these "pharmacists" should get their names and post them online, but before posting they should call and find out where they stand on prescribing PED (do they fill Viagra and other hard-on scripts). Take names and the place of employment. Reverse humiliation.

Alright here is the new and I hope improved audio VO. Sorry about trying to play around with my voice. After listening to the new audio, maybe you'll agree ;=D The music in the background was also composed by me, in case anyone is interested. Let's get John Edwards NOTICED.... Go Johnny GO Since I don't have any money to contribute I thought I would donate my time to making a video. I hope you like it. ![]() Edit for CAPS.......... These are the photos I took of all the wildlife that I got to experience this past summer. The kitties were abandoned by their mother after they were born. They were very wild until I took the time to tame them. They love to give me lovin' such as they nibble my nose when I sit down to feed them.
![]() Kagome was a very sick kitty and thought that she might actually die, but I continued to nurse her to health and now she is fairly healthy. Her mother took her away (after I had been feeding them) for about 2 1/2 weeks. When they finally showed back up Kagome was in real bad shape. She had ear problems which I helped to get them back to normal. They had started to look crusty and then lost all the fur, as well as her tail. A vet told me to use antibiotic ointment and that did the trick. She is one of a kind (although she does look like her mama). ![]() Sango was the hardest one to tame. It took me a long time to get her to let me touch her. I persevered till she started to get close enough for me to grab her. I would then place her on my lap and proceed to feed her. Now she likes to climb on my legs and give me head hugs if I'm not petting her and giving to much attention to the other two babies. ![]() The opossums were living under our deck. I didn't even know they were there until one night I was in my studio which leads to outside when I heard this very loud crunching of cat food. When I went to get door there were about 3 opossums eating the food. At one point there were about 5 of them. Then we were down to two living under the deck. Unfortunately for them we had to restrict their access to our deck, in other words we evicted them. We also found a dead opossum in our back yard. Don't know what happened to him/her, but we bagged it up and animal control came and took it away. These pics were taken at night. ![]() ![]() Lastly there is the owl who came to hang out in our backyard for a few weeks. This pic was taken looking out my back window. He/She was sitting in our Crete Myrtle which is probably about 4 ft from our house. ![]() We also had hummingbirds return this year. However, I never was able to take their pics. Wish him luck. He is a wild cat that I tamed. He is the most loving kitty. I'll post another thread about my wild life adventure this past summer with pics of his sisters.

Fri Nov 30th 2007, 07:32 AM and while some of the language is questionable it seemed to me that this bill at least is setting up an oversight committee, which I would suppose is a good thing. The other part of the bill states:
“SEC. 899F. PROTECTING CIVIL RIGHTS AND CIVIL LIBERTIES WHILE PREVENTING IDEOLOGICALLY BASED VIOLENCE AND HOMEGROWN TERRORISM. “(a) In General.—The Department of Homeland Security’s efforts to prevent ideologically based violence and homegrown terrorism as described herein shall not violate the constitutional rights, civil rights, or civil liberties of United States citizens or lawful permanent residents. “(b) Commitment To Racial Neutrality.—The Secretary shall ensure that the activities and operations of the entities created by this subtitle are in compliance with the Department of Homeland Security’s commitment to racial neutrality. “(c) Auditing Mechanism.—The Civil Rights and Civil Liberties Officer of the Department of Homeland Security shall develop and implement an auditing mechanism to ensure that compliance with this subtitle does not violate the constitutional rights, civil rights, or civil liberties of any racial, ethnic, or religious group, and shall include the results of audits under such mechanism in its annual report to Congress required under section 705.”. (b) Clerical Amendment.—The table of contents in section 1(b) of such Act is amended by inserting at the end of the items relating to title VIII the following: “Subtitle J—Prevention Of Violent Radicalization And Homegrown Terrorism “Sec. 899A. Definitions. “Sec. 899B. Findings. “Sec. 899C. National Commission on the Prevention of Violent Radicalization and Ideologically Based Violence. “Sec. 899D. Center of Excellence for the Study of Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism in the United States. “Sec. 899E. Preventing violent radicalization and homegrown terrorism through international cooperative efforts. “Sec. 899F. Protecting civil rights and civil liberties while preventing ideologically based violence and homegrown terrorism.”. Passed the House of Representatives October 23, 2007. The bill also states how the committee will select the members and when they report their findings to the president. (1) Final report.—Not later than 18 months after the date on which the Commission first meets, the Commission shall submit to the President and Congress a final report of its findings and conclusions, legislative recommendations for immediate and long-term countermeasures to violent radicalization, homegrown terrorism, and ideologically based violence, and measures that can be taken to prevent violent radicalization, homegrown terrorism, and ideologically based violence from developing and spreading within the United States, and any final recommendations for any additional grant programs to support these purposes. The report may also be accompanied by a classified annex. “(2) Interim reports.—The Commission shall submit to the President and Congress— “(A) by not later than 6 months after the date on which the Commission first meets, a first interim report on— “(i) its findings and conclusions and legislative recommendations for the purposes described in paragraph (1); and “(ii) its recommendations on the feasibility of a grant program established and administered by the Secretary for the purpose of preventing, disrupting, and mitigating the effects of violent radicalization, homegrown terrorism, and ideologically based violence and, if such a program is feasible, recommendations on how grant funds should be used and administered; and “(B) by not later than 6 months after the date on which the Commission submits the interim report under subparagraph (A), a second interim report on such matters. “(3) Individual or dissenting views.—Each member of the Commission may include in each report under this subsection the individual additional or dissenting views of the member. “(4) Public availability.—The Commission shall release a public version of each report required under this subsection. “(r) Availability Of Funding.—Amounts made available to the Commission to carry out this section shall remain available until the earlier of the expenditure of the amounts or the termination of the Commission. “(s) Termination Of Commission.—The Commission shall terminate 30 days after the date on which the Commission submits its final report. I guess this all depends on who HLS decides to target as "Violent Radicalization and Ideologically Based Violence." But I would hope as long as you're not advocating violence then they shouldn't be targeting you. But these are strange times with abuse of power running rampant. So I suppose anything could happen. You just can't trust that much power upon the already powerful not to abuse and use it against the little guy who points it out. Time for me to get some sleep, but got reeled in by your post and it took awhile to read through the bill.

I think everyone should email (of course you will have to find a California address) her censure on Clinton. If she thinks what Bill did was soooo wrong, then you would think she would feel even worse by what Mad king Boy George and Oil Slick Dick have been doing. Oh wait that would effect her sweet government contracts. Remember after she flew on Air Force One with Mad king Boy George she was all about the love for him. Perhaps they were working up a scheme to funnel some more $$$$ from the US Treasury.

from digital composite/photo manipulation (photoshop, illustrator and such) to video editing and audio effects, to more traditional medias.
Beading (I also like seed beads for ornaments and other objects) to larger beads for jewelry projects. ![]() I've been making paper out of all my junk mail (I've made some masks so far and hand painted some) I just shred and add to blender with water and strain thru a large tea strainer, then I just smash it into a mask that I line with old knee high stockings. They look a little rough but over all they look okay. I have some large angels wings (?) that I've been wanting to use as a mold. I thought those would make an awesome lamp. I have also been learning to work with polymer clay. I have a pasta machine to soften it up to use, and I just bought a extruder but haven't used it much yet. I have some plans to use some of the designs it makes on some onyx hearts someone gave me to use. There are a lot of them to work with. I'm also interested in making a mixed media collage of different objects and painting some of it and adding objects mixed in. I can crochet although lately I have been making kitty toys for my new family of kitties I took in. They were born to a wild mama and I tamed them to love me. Which they do. I guess that's some things about me. Seems like we have similar talents. Good luck with your projects. Having so many can be cumbersome, never knowing which one to pursue first and which ones to put on the back burner. My blog has suffered as a result of my last video project Thanks for sharing yourself and your interests.

Thu Nov 01st 2007, 05:32 PM I started out calling everyone of the Judiciary Committee. Leahy's office was the last one I called and the person I spoke with asked me to send them an email. Below is the email I sent. This is very important information and I have not heard anything about this, not in the news, not on DU, nowhere. I could have missed it being posted here, but if I did then oops. This info needs to get out there, it needs to have the spotlight shined on it to keep this nominee just that a nominee.
Dear Honorable Sen. Leahy, Please consider this information before confirming Michael Mukasey as the United States Attorney General. I have called everyone on the Senate Judiciary committee (Dems only of course) to get this info out there. I haven't heard much about it anywhere else. While I know that Water-boarding is a serious concern, I find this info just as concerning. Marc Mukasey, the son of Attorney General nominee Michael Mukasey, has been tasked by Rudy Giuliani to “to keep an eye on” former NYPD police commissioner Bernard Kerik’s criminal investigation. Earlier this month, media reports said that federal prosecutors were prepared to file charges against Kerik “that will likely include allegations of bribery, tax fraud and obstruction of justice.” Kerik, whose nomination as homeland security secretary in 2004 ended in scandal, pleaded guilty last year to two misdemeanor charges of taking payments from the same company that is alleged to have bribed him. More @ link http://thinkprogress.org/2007/10/22/mukase... / Can you imagine someone blocking witnesses from testifying to protect another criminal? I mean come on. When will it ever end? This is what concerns me the most: Mr. Mukasey's clients frequently retain him for his trial skills. He has tried numerous criminal cases involving allegations of securities fraud, investment advisory fraud, mail and wire fraud, insider trading, money laundering, RICO and murder. He has also practiced extensively before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. Recently, Mr. Mukasey has been successful in persuading Department of Justice prosecutors to close an antitrust investigation against a major corporation without the filing of charges, and to drop securities fraud and mail fraud investigations of his business clients. Do we really need more cronyism at the DOJ??? Hasn't the DOJ suffered enough at the hands of the Bush regime??? I can just see it now Marc spending so much time at the DOJ and getting Daddy to block investigations concerning his clients. The Department of Justice is in shambles because of the Bush regime politicizing it. Senator Leahy you have the power to block his confirmation. Please help put this country back on the right track. This has got to stop. We need real leadership at the DOJ. We don't need more of the cronyism that has wrecked our great nation. You know as well as I and the rest of us non sleepers that our country is in dire straights and we need your leadership to help set the country back on the right track, especially within the DOJ. Thank you for your service and thank you for your time. Best Regards, If you DUers think it is worthy of merit then help spread the word far and wide. Sat Oct 20th 2007, 09:52 PM Instead of constantly spinning in the "will he or won't he" mud
If Gore would declare his presidency, he would automatically end that debate, hench no more spinning. I think that is what he is wanting to do now (I know I am,) and knows that in order for that to happen he must keep his focus where it is for now in getting US to focus on it. He could instantly be able to make this a larger issue if he were running. Think about EVERY rally he went to speak. He would have a platform to discuss his issues and how best to bring about change. Such as bringing back industry to help create jobs for solar technology. It's already there, but due to "clean coal" the nuke, and petro lobbyist it is being set back. We have a manufacturing plant that is trying to create solar shingles. Wow, just think of Gore's influence he could have running for president? No wonder he fell out of love with politics. I believe the reasons he fell out of love with politics is because of his last bid. The media destroyed him in a certain sense, as they did with John Kerry, Howard Dean. The media machine is a large part of the problem with political discourse. When you have CNN bringing in one of Tom Bugboy DeLay's friend as a lobbyist then you know how the game is rigged within the media machine. One of the reasons why I think Al didn't run last time is I think he didn't want to be a part of the Bush redo. Just think how the media would have handled that. I'm almost certain that we could agree it would have been a circus. A feeding frenzy. After the last time around Al knew to sit that one out. I've always had the feeling Gore's family were threatened if he didn't concede in '00. The way the Gore's looked approaching the cameras, you could just tell they looked kinda scared. Now we do have some info about Rush, and others making threats, so perhaps my gut is right. It was best that he didn't enter last time around. The time is right this time around. Al doesn't really need the media this time around. He has other options available to him. Like the internets he invented.;=D And I agree, though yes, on some level for me as well it is also a bit sad, but it appears he is not interested in getting into the mess this time out, which was why he stated he was only 59... because there is plenty of time to run for president, but not plenty of time in getting the world on track regarding this crisis and frankly, he is right. Let's consider that a Democratic candidate wins the election in '08, and then they'll probably run again for 12 and win. Al will be 67. His time is now. He has everybody's attention now. In 8 years maybe no one will be listening to him. But he has quite a bit of fame behind him, capital if you will, to spend it NOW! Also as far as getting the world on track, just think every time he spoke at the United Nations. Talk about getting the world's attention. He could bring people to the table to deal with the crisis. He wouldn't have the same level of awareness that actually working with other governments as he would have with being the President of the United States. One election regardless of who the candidate is is not going to solve this. 23% of Arctic ice melting in the last five years is indeed a planetary emergency that tells me we are at the tipping point way before we thought we would be and we urgently need his leadership and expertise full time to be free in the global community to set policy and bring education to those who would otherwise not get it. But Al Gore being president would bring about planetary change faster. He could use his role as president to create the change needed now. He would have the platform to make the necessary arguments that the global community needs to start working together now to slow down the rate of our shrinking ice caps. Industry would have to meet the new demands that are required to maintain better living conditions. I don't think Gore will be able to set policy without the title of president. Maybe he could just make everyone do his bidding without the title but somehow I don't think he could have the same effect. How would Gore set policy without being president? This is his strong point and his passion, which is why he may have told some to move on regarding the politics of this... and I am OK with that, because I am secure in the knowledge that wherever he chooses to use his vision, experience, and talents the world will be a better place for it and in the end that is what it is all about. If he refuses to use this opportunity to bring forth the plans this world needs as the president, I think he would have squandered his chances. I know he will always campaign for the world, but this is the best time for him. He should use his passion on becoming this nation's president. Quite frankly, I'm not OK with him not running in '08 and making his mission known to the world right now. He's a smart man and I love and appreciate everything he's doing, but it just doesn't make sense to me why he would sit this one out. Hopefully he will have the vision to realize this IS his time to be the leader of the free world. Maybe he could restore America from the mess this country is in because of the United States supreme court's decision in '00 to deny Gore his rightful place. ![]()

Thu Aug 16th 2007, 03:54 AM Listed Projects: Teleconferencing with HardHatBid Inc. Nour USA, Limited will provide support for HardHatBid Inc. of California as they deploy their patented HHB DBS Solution throughout the Republic of Iraq. The HHB DBS Solution is an electrical system designed to post and manage government solicitations and receive vendor bids. It will link all Government Ministries in Iraq and provide a common platform for bidding and procurement efforts. MEMEX: National Criminal Investigative System This extensive IT Project included the design, supply, installation, training and maintenance of an Intelligence Management Web-based system in English and Arabic. The system was developed by ANHAM and successfully deployed in three phases throughout Iraq in 2004, and is currently in its final phase of completion. ANHAM has been able to reach our main goal, which was to train the officers on the NCI system, to allow the Iraqi National Security to track and fight all new types of crime that the Nation of Iraq has been faced with over the last few years. Our training program includes the education of officers to make them familiar with legislation, department policy and procedures. Thus, our employment of highly skilled locals and our excellent knowledge of the country of Iraq made this task manageable. The Iraq Officers will now be prepared with critical knowledge for future challenges. The management effort for this contract was provided by Nour USA, Limited in support of ANHAM. The first installment of this effort is scheduled to take place this summer in Iraq. National Maintenance Contract (NMC)/Vehicle Maintenance The National Maintenance Contract was subcontracted with AECOM and requires vehicle maintenance and life support services to four sites within Iraq for over two thousand Iraqi employees. As a result of their outstanding past performance record, ANHAM, with management services provided by Nour USA, Limited, had emerged as the only capable provider of emergency vehicle maintenance services. In addition to the supply of vehicles and replacement and repair parts, ANHAM and Nour developed an exclusive vehicle parts tracking and requests system. This system has proven itself beyond original expectations and is still in use by the Iraqi military. Battalion Sets Located in Iraq, the Battalion Sets contract required the supply of military equipment, including vehicle rolling stock, armor, night vision equipment, fire control, VHF/UHF communication and spare parts for all supported equipment. Deliveries to three sites were supported (Al Kirkush, Taji, and Al Numiniyah). The contract included the supply of parts and operations manuals, and training sessions in product usage (train the trainer). Payments were received on delivery and inspections were made in factories upon receipts of the goods. Delivery convoys were accompanied by security teams, and used daily road reports to follow the optimal unique route each day. Despite these precautions, convoys were hit by roadside bombs on three occasions throughout the contract. When an attack occurred, the US Army was notified immediately, and goods were immediately readjusted, rerouted if necessary and redelivered to our mutual agreement. This process insured the battalions were adequately re-supplied. Afghan Poppy Seed Elimination The Afghanistan Poppy Elimination Project is an initiative by the US State Government to encourage native Afghan farmer to produce alternative crops instead of their more recent cultivation of the poppy flower. This effort will reduce the illegal drug trade present in Afghanistan and the its surrounding export countries. Nour USA will participate in this effort by supplying life support for the US Advisors managing the project. Life Support needs will include: Food Housing Equipment Maintenance These life support functions will be provided in multiple sites throughout Afghanistan. ATVI (Afghanistan Technical Vocational Institute) The Afghanistan Technical and Vocational Institute is designed to support the people of Afghanistan as they strive to become more productive members of their nation's economy. The development plan for this Institute addresses the critical shortfall in skills in construction, agriculture/horticulture, automotive mechanics, and information technology. The supply of highly skilled technical talent in these areas is currently being filled by foreign labor, or simply not at all. These skill areas have been identified by the Afghanistan Government and by international organizations as essential to future economic development. The working plan has been carefully laid out with ATVI initially providing training for 600 male and female students, and targeting to graduate up to 5,000 male and female students per year; drawn from Kabul, other major cities, and the rural areas. Attaining a threshold of 15% female enrollment is requisite to resolving the plight of women under years of neglect that has left their literacy rates of below 20% nationwide and unemployment rates above 80% in many regions. http://www.nourusa.com/projects.html Do you think Congress is even aware of this? I mean look at some of the projects and you realize that the services ARE NOT being conducted. Such as the "management system" which we all know from news reports that NOTHING has been working within the system.... I can only hope Congress gets wind of ALL the war profiteering that is taking place. Every time Bush sends the signal that the troops will not get the money, that is code for they will not be receiving the money either way. Why should the troops receive any benefits. They are only cannon fodder for the Bush Regime/Cartel/Cabal. I will add more to this thread after more research.

Fri Jul 20th 2007, 04:59 AM I posted this in another thread, but decided it should have it's own thread.
I started doing research on Judge Fuller when I came upon this jewel. Apparently Fuller has been working deep within our government as well as being a judge, he has been training pilots... http://www.locustfork.net/blog/jill_simpso... /... I've just started reading it. Jill Simpson's Affidavit May Help Justice Prevail in the Siegelman, Scrushy Case It also lifts the veil on how politics subverts justice and dirty tricks sully politics... Jill is the woman who had her house burned down. This is a five part series. Goes into very detailed history of Fuller, Riley, and Rove.... There is also her affidavit at http://www.locustfork.net/blog/jill_simpso... /... HOLY SHIT, check this out: But eventually she put together such a revealing picture of a very rich federal judge who owned companies doing millions upon millions of dollars worth of business with the U.S. government, including making uniforms for the FBI and training Saudi and Iranian pilots - all while doing business with the Justice Department in eliminating Siegelman from politics forever. Amazingly, Justice Fuller received a $178 million contract through a privately held company to train pilots and navigators for the U.S. government DURING THE SIEGELMAN, SCRUSY TRIAL. The company is called Doss Aviation of Alabama. For another company called Aureus International that is listed as a division of Doss Aviation on the company's Website, Fuller is also listed as the majority owner, according to Ms. Simpson's research. The company does a comparable amount of business making uniforms for the U.S. military and the FBI, which played a major role in the investigation and prosecution of Siegelman and Scrushy. ![]() Check out the GOV contracts he's getting: http://www.fedspending.org/fpds/fpds.php?p... ... 2000 $11,736,314 2001 $9,993,378 2002 $8,376,574 2003 $11,333,293 2004 $23,828,933 2005 $26,854,524 2006 $25,184,67 *Note: FY 2006 does not include data from some agencies. edit: to include more research data on the judge Fuller Does anyone have the same gut feeling about judge Fuller training Saudis and Iranians to fly?!? Or that he makes uniforms for the FBI, and the US military??? Did judge Fuller's company train ANY of the Saudis that FLEW PLANES INTO BUILDINGS on SEPTEMBER 11, 2001???? ![]() I will add more to this thread to keep it kicked.... If anyone thinks this is a bombshell then please rec&kick, TIA Posted by MagickMuffin in General Discussion (1/22-2007 thru 12/14/2010)
