I don't get the birther controversy, wasn't McCain born in the Panama canal?

No one questions his citizenship. I thought as long as your parent was a US Citizen so were you. Even if Obama wasn't born in Hawaii, he's still a natural born citizen because of his mother. Whats so controversial about that? By the standards of this mob, McCain shouldn't have been allowed to run for president either.

SO WTF IS IT WITH THESE PEOPLE!!!

He looks like he is in the process of making the moves for a future presidential run either in 2012 or 2016.

How did a religious GOP nutbag like him manage to get himself elected in post-Katrina Louisiana?

I didn't know much about him before, but after listening to him address the CFR last week I can't help but feel that we really need this guy out there bumping for Obama a whole lot more.
