Pink Floyd - "A Great Day for Freedom" On the day the wall came down They threw the locks onto the ground And with glasses high we raised a cry for freedom had arrived
On the day the wall came down The ship of fools had finally run aground Promises lit up the night like paper doves in flight
Pink Floyd - "Coming Back to Life"
Lost in thought and lost in time While the seeds of live and the seeds of change were planted
Outside the rain fell dark and slow While I pondered on this dangerous but I took a heavenly ride through one silence I knew the moment had arrived For killing the past and coming back to life
I took a heavenly ride trough our silence I knew the waiting had begin And headed straight... into the shining sun
I have been posting the following on every wing-nut blog I can find:
November 4, 2008 is going to be a watershed day for America. Barack Obama will win the Presidency in the face of the bullshit, lies and hypocrisy of the right-wing nuts. The next day, November 5, 2008 will be the day that the right-wing nuts wake up, hoping that it was all a dream, but soon they come to the realization that their years of supremacy are over and they have become insignificant.
The insignificant right-wing nuts will cry and whine about non-existent Democratic voter fraud... they'll stomp their feet about every subject imaginable. Worse yet to them, they will see a Democratic Super-Majority in the Senate and will know again the breadth of their insignificance.
The most beautiful part of all is that to their incredible dismay the President of the United States will be Barack Hussein Obama and there will be nothing they can do about it.
Poor Poor Pitiful Republicans
It's a nail biter, it's scary, but fellow Democrats WE'RE WINNING THIS GODDAMN ELECTION
