You had better get very busy campaigning
going after disaffected voters. I am talking
about the ONE-HALF of the COUNTRY who DOES
NOT VOTE.

May I respectfully suggest you dallied around
in 2010 and let the TEA PARTIERS take those
Centrist and Blue Dog Seats.

Whether we recognize it or not, there are
groups of Rich Business Men taking over the
elections.

It is understood that the Chamber of Commerce
funded Tea Partiers. THE KOCH BROTHERS who
seem to have money to burn, funded Tea Partiers.
Last night Rachel Maddow had Jane meyers on as
a guest to explain how a Mr. Pope(RICH, Rich, Rich)
actually found and funded enough Arch Conservatives
(Randian?) to totally change the NC Legislature to
Republican. When one man can fund twenty something
campaigns because he believes in a certain ideology,
what kind of Democracy do we have??? Corporatocrisy.

They wiped out these Centrists who sometimes sound
like Moderate Republicans.

I am well aware that you prefer to go for the Upper
Income voter and compete with Republicans. I say
you might be better off going more Democratic and
get out there and go after the other half of the
country. Many of these people are Democrats who
felt left by the side of the road long ago.

These very Rich Business Men appear to see this
as their time. Voters are the only thing that
can combat Money. Get enough voters out and
all the money in the world will not help them.

Just some thoughts from a concerned Democrat.

We totally destroy everything this country stands for.

Some of us love this country and are pained by what we
see happening right before our eyes. We have been around
long enough and lived in different parts of the country
enough to know that deep down the VAST MAJORITY of AMERICANS
want pretty much the same thing.

However, it is time to think about what our Politics are
doing to the very fabric of this country.

First of all, there are regional differences--which have
produced different cultures. NO ONE CULTURE is better
or superior to another. The South has their culture
The West has their Culture The East has their Culture
and the North has their Culture.

People who live in more agrarian areas with fewer people
most likely have had to be more self-reliant in many instances.
Not as many people usually means fewer rules and not
Contrast that with people from the Northeast which to
some one like me appears packed with all kinds of people.
Proximity means they have had to learn to be more sensitive
to those around them.(It is called survival). They have
learned to work together and since life in a more
shared way. We are all in this together.

We have people who just as soon be talking a foreign
language. To all Politicians: Please get a handle
on speaking the truth. Using Lies to make points
only makes us more distrustful. One Group does not
have all the answers. I am certain people living
in suburbs have exploding heads when they turn on
TV and hear some of this stuff. Putting down education
and people who are educated is a sin. I came from
the working poor during the Depression and with the
Grace of God, education now live retired in the surburbs.
I spent my life making sure my child valued education
and it has served us well. Denying Science Willfully
is mind boggling. We must come to a meeting of the
mind --there are some truths. We cannot just say
--Well I do not believe it. Four or Five sets of truths
will leave this country decimated. A truth--It does
hurt ur country to default. How many so called politicians
said "I do not believe it." Listen Folks, being self-reliant
is one thing but being willfully ignorant can scare people
out of their wits.

Now to the Spineless Politicians who know better but remain
silent. There was a dark period in Hx when people remained
silent and a whole group of our Brothers and Sisters
were killed in most abhorent way. I am not be hyperbolic here
just reminding both parties they have a responsibility.
Appeasing the wrong policies is just as bad the writing
the policies.

There was a time when we had serious Primaries. People
recognized that becoming President is not a game. It
is serious business. Our Country is in big trouble
and we need to believe we have serious people and
people with SPINES in Congress in order to form a more
perfect union.
Thanks for listening.

clearly resembles China and India when it comes
to Wealth Distribution. Psst, no one group in
the US recognizes this. People over 460,000 dollars
annually--millionnaires and billionaires do not
believe they own Eighty(80) percent of all money
property assets in this country.

The bottom third poor and working poor do not
believe they have Four (4)percent of the Wealth
and property assets in this country

Go to PBS.org and check out Paul Solomon.

The Pie Charts are really enlightening. We are
closest to China and India in distribution but
on the street interviews show people think we
are like Sweden which has the most equal distribution.

saying the words??? Over the years I have learned
to listen to every word a politician in significant
position says. I do this because they are often
telling much more than what the immediate message
is.

I have picked up on a certain statement that is used
every time they speak on Cutting Medicare, Reforming
Medicare whatever.

Ryan uses it, Cantor uses and the Lord knowes Boehner
uses it. When Boehner used it yesterday in speaking
to the Business and WALL STREET audience, a light
went off. OUR CHILDREN WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SUSTAIN
THE PRESENT MEDICARE PROGRAM.

Are they admitting without saying America is becoming
a low wage nation. The incomes of Americans are going
to be so low they will not be able to pay for such
a program. Moreover are they admitting we are going
to have years of high unemployment. Lack of revenues
from taxes make it impossible to have programs like
Health Care and Medicaid. Since wages will continue to
drop our children cannot be burdened??

A real Democratic Party would have a much different
approach and be out there selling it to the American
People?

I do not know what is in their heads of course, but
I do know they live by "Words are important".

the Public Union Workers earn more than
counterparts in private sector.

TELL ME, how do they make the Comparison.

Teachers are College Graduates. Compare
them to college graduates and the teachers
make less.

The other day someone from Wisconsisn posted
the average teacher earns 46,000 annually
and beginning teachers start at about 26,000
annually.

College Graduates in Business earn more.

To which group in Private Sector do you
compare firefighters and police???

It is what they spend it on: Wars, Defense Spending(Military Equip)
Tax cuts for the Wealthy, and Favors for Business, waiving tax payments,
subsidies. Foreign Aid. Bribing countries to support us.

Democrats spend on Social Programs, governmental interests,
Foreign Aid, similar to Republicans.

Over the last month, I have picked up this bit
of information regarding hiring. Somewhat confusing??

This morning C. Romans, Business reporter CNN, was
giving "pointers" on the New Year and Job potentials.

She says if you have lost a job, been laid off, in the
last SIS MONTHS, you have a strong possiblity of finding
a job very soon. However, if you have been out of work
more than 6 months your chances grow very dim. The longer
you are laid off the worse your chances of finding work.

This means the unemployment rate remains oover 9% for 2011.

This is the third time I have heard this story from various
business reporters.

If only the people who already have jobs are being hired,
is it time for a different approach to this unemployment
situaion???

Oh, they never explain why this is the practice. I am
left to assume this is the new American Economy. The
Companies have adjusted their employment rolls and
one part is humming nicely. What about those left behind.
I am open to any other explanation.

In case you missed the R. Maddow Show last evening,
it might be owrth going there and reviewing Transcript.

The reason I say this is our MSM is not big on covering
Economic Issues, esp. Trade Issues. Also if they
do cover them, they leave the impression that Europe
is this old creaky economy going to hell in a handbasket.
After all social democracies simply cannot flourish.(sarcasm)

To the point, Hayes had a most interesting author on who
explained that all countries have been hit by the recent
financial collapse--it is Germany who is doing the best
in these economic times.
Regarding Trade Policy: Germany very carefully managed
their policies. DID Not Permit WHOLESALE Outsourcing from
their country. Instead built a strong manufacturing base.
Permit Union Members to sit on the Boards of Companies.
In fact, permit High School Graduate to sit on Boards of
Businesses. Why? To put emphasis on having high quality
goods and Germany be synonomous. As a result in these hard
times Germany is up there giving China a run for their
money. Combining French and German Exports and they exceed
China.

Yes, Unions and all Germany is fairing well.

Think about our trade deficit and our economy.

When certain Congressmen call for an Industrial
policy for U.S.A., we whould stand with them.

There is a serious method in their madness.

Devolution of Programs and Responsibilities back to the States.

Yes, last night while "surfing channels, I happened upon
Congressmen P Hoekstra giving a campaign speech. He is running
for Governor of Michigan, in case you were unaware.

All the Republican Candidates were on stage in a somewhat
debate forum.

What caught my undivided attention: Hoekstra in an almost joyful
tone was explaining that in the next election there will be
more Republicans going to DC and more Republicans in Governor's
Mansion. The time has come to define Washington Respsonsiblities
and States' responsibilities. We will be sending many programs
back to the states. Washington will have authority over a few
programs and the States will have full control over a lot
of programs that used to be in DC.

After hearing this, their obstructionism makes sence. If each
state becomes responsible for Health care in their state,
no reason to have a national health care program. I am just
throwing this out as an example. From a Republican perspective
just say no, is logical.

Apparently they believe the time has come and they as serious
as h... about Smaller Government.

Keep your ears to the ground.
