Cut, Cap, & Trade passed 234 to 190. IIRC, that included 5 Dems, and they won't be voting yes on the Boehner bill. That means that we'd be at something like 229-195 best case for the Boehner bill, meaning 17 T-baggers can derail this. Some of them are just hard cases, but (if blogs are to be believed), some are wavering. That said, many of them signed "pledges" not to support any bill that wasn't "Cut, Cap & Trade." So here's my theory: they are going to call in sick tomorrow.

The rationale -- being "sick" is kinda, sorta plausible (as plausible as any other American worker sick on a Friday). OK, they're clearly lying their butts off, but by being sick, they will miss the vote, so they won't have to vote "against" Boehner, but they can truthfully claim they never supported the Boehner bill.

I'm telling you -- it's going to be the anchovies.
