over here, Senator. Have the grace and dignity to look at the man whom you are attempting to defeat. You have no longer the eyes of a warrior, they are the wandering eyes of someone who cannot face the truth. Perhaps at one time you could, but now, faced with defeat, you no longer can; you have the false grin of the third-rate flim-flam man. You have lied about my record, you have lied about my past, and most disgracefully and urgently, you have lied to the American People. You have employed the very individuals and techniques which were used to destroy your campaign eight years ago in South Carolina. Those are techniques of evil, of hatred, of intolerance, and yes, of bigotry. In your private moments I know that you are ashamed of yourself as well you should be, and I only hope that the good Lord God forgives you for your violation of His Commandment."
