OK, we won the f-ing election, the R's only offer the same old same old trickle down for the greedy rich and won't work with Obama and Dems. So first, F-THEM !! (We reached out to them, and they say no, so again, F-THEM!) Next, call/email your Senators if you haven't already. If their voice mail boxes are full, then EMAIL or DO BOTH !! Also, you can call their LOCAL offices, not just their D.C. numbers. Don't forget that. Next, WRITE LETTERS TO THE EDITOR OF YOUR LOCAL PAPERS to support Obama/Dems on this bill. Next, call in to local radio shows to support it. Next, call/email all UNIONS and other progressive interest groups from MoveOn to Democracy For America to add your voice and urge them to lobby like hell in the media and in D.C. Next, call/email ANY organization that stands to benefit from the Jobs/Stimulus bill to urge them to lobby like hell. Next, call/write the DNC, your state Dem party, and your local Dem party affiliates to LOBBY FOR THE OBAMA JOBS BILL in the media and in D.C. So far I have emailed my Senators, emailed my state party, and called and left a message for one Senator whose voice mail box was not quite full. I also plan to contact my educational union to urge them to lobby for it. SO GET OUT THERE AND HELP OUR AWESOME NEW PRESIDENT AND DEMS IN CONGRESS TO MAKE THE CHANGE WE VOTED FOR IN NOVEMBER !! Thanks !!

Text of my email to my Senators:

"Dear Senators Snowe/Collins (From Maine):

I urge you to support the Jobs/Economic Stimulus Bill as essentially sponsored and promoted by President Obama. In November the American people voted overwhelmingly for change; for a new direction. We are in the midst of a huge economic crisis. Trickle-down and half-measures won't work. We need a bold plan to shore up the economy in the short term, and to create a new and better economy for the future. A big, bold response is needed, and it is needed RIGHT NOW !! The country may well tailspin into a great depression if we don't move now in a big, bold way to make the investments needed for FUTURE success. We MUST address jobs, healthcare, and energy for the long term, not only tax cuts and spending incentives in the short term. It is all connected. It is all vital. Now is the time. Now is the chance. SUPPORT THE OBAMA JOBS/STIMULUS BILL ! Thank You."

Whether it's using the Gergen argument about how R's like Reagan have supported so-called
resdistribution, or whatever, the attacks must be better-answered. Listen to Gergen ! He's right when he says so. Obama needs to drive the issue right back up McSAME's ass by touting his middle class tax cuts and then SLAM McSAME's failed right wing economic theory. THEN pivot back to the economy.
They also need to better-answer the "If Obama wins, we'll have ALL liberals in charge" attack. They have been SILENT on this ! How to respond? You talk change change change and how when the R's had complete control no one was pissing all over that, and look at what a fucked up mess they made !
C'MON Dems and Obama ! BLOODY THEIR FUCKING EYEBALLS !! Or it could get WAY too tight in the endgame. (Some may say "don't go negative." Believe me, many of Indy undecideds are still VERY persuadable, and the attacks CAN work ! HIT THE FUCKER BACK GOOD AND DAMN HARD !!) WE NEED TO BE OUT THERE SLAMMING THESE RIGHT WING ASSHOLES AS THE "CORRUPT RADICAL RIGHT WING IDEOLOGUES" THAT THEY ARE !!

Obama grabs healthy lead in Monday's Gallup Poll

By Yael T. Abouhalkah, Kansas City Star Editorial Page columnist

Barack Obama is coasting to victory next week. That's what Monday's Gallup Poll shows, as Obama holds a commanding 52-42 percent lead over John McCain among all voters.

Obama's margin, while smaller, is still quite encouraging among likely voters: 50-45 percent, or the same as in Sunday's poll.

That's eight straight days for Obama to be at or above the victorious 50-percent figure in the likely-voter poll.

For McCain, the news is monotonously bad.

He continues to trail Obama in all of Gallup's national polls, as he has for weeks. And McCain still trails in swing states as well, such as Missouri.

McCain's only hope is to stage miraculous, last-week rallies in states such as Missouri, Ohio, Michigan and Florida.

That's simply looking more and more unlikely.
