This song reminds me of why today's politicians are weasels and commit the U.S. to long wars that can't be won----the draft. Think about it, there's no draft like every other war in U.S. history. Why? because if there was a draft, the public would throw the bums out of office and demand an end to wars like Iraq and Afghanistan. The result? Because there is a "shortage" of soldiers we hire mercenary contractors at five times the cost to do the work of honorable and brave soldiers. Troops are demoralized by getting screwed like that and the budget is busted by enormous and inflated costs of war. Weasels!

The ultimate irony of anti-war ironies would be for a movement: "STOP THE WAR! START THE DRAFT!" But if that happened, weasel politicians would probably start another war front with the extra soldiers.
