about talking about the "past all the time"

Obama and Biden need to explain to McCain/Palin that which they do not understand. In order to know how to set a corrective or positive future course you need to know exactly where you are and exactly how you got there. I can understand why the Republican ticket would like to just pretend the last eight years did not happen and that they could just start with a clean slate. But the world does not work that way. Actions have consequences. The mistakes made by the Bush administration assisted in no small part by McCain and certain segments of the Republican party must be examined and understood. In understanding these mistakes and misjudgements Obama and Biden can develop a plan to fix the current mess in domestic and foreign policy and carry this country into the future with hope and pride.

Palin consistently states that it is not necessary to understand the cause of global warming in order to work to fix it. This is false. If fossil fuel use by humans is not causing the problem then why have any caps on carbon emissions? If low taxes for the wealthiest among us and deregulation in every form were the panacea of economic policy that Ms. Palin and McCain believe it to be we would be in an economic boon rather than in the worst decline since the great depression.

Never have two Politicians been more wrong about so much as McCain/Palin.

This creature's opinion must always be taken with a strong antibiotic and a dose of "Who the f^@k asked you?".

Hasn't this sub-species done enough damage to our form of government? Any "advice" from this character should be viewed through the high power "what in this for you" glasses. He works for his interest only. He always has, and very rarely do the interests of his species and the human race's coincide.

Some might think I am being cruel, or that my words are "politically motivated." Some would accuse me of using hypebole.

Some of this may be true. I am not sure, for example, if the rock Carl now resides under is indeed covered in slime. But I stand behind the rest of my statement.

 
Some say deja vu is a symptom of frontal lobe seizures. That makes sense to me. Only a brain(or the brain in charge of a country) that's been damaged or is under serious mental duress would keep making the same stupid moves over and over again.

Some say deja vu is a form of "precognition." I don't think you need a sixth sense to read the mind of this administration. Understanding the mind of this administration is the real challenge.

Change the President, change the present and the future. The sooner the better. We need to start impeachment hearings even if it does not get this man out of office before the election. We can at least hope it will occupy his damaged mind and soul until another (hopefully) more rational person takes over.

I know it's not P.C. to say this but I really think the man is mentally breaking down. Dick C. is getting physically weaker and g. bush is losing it mentally. One can't stay awake and one can't stay in this reality.

He is giving anyone with eyes to see an eagles view of what a Bush administration will look like if another "shock" in the form of an attack, or threat of illness were to come to our shores.

I hope people are paying attention and taking notes. Bush is just waiting for the right moment to take a step like this. We have been forwarded. Between the book on shock politics and this Musharraf action we should not be caught off guard again. The next "shock" must not disarm us to the point of distraction, but should rather arm us with a healthy dose of distrust for all things patronizing, oversimplified, over-patriotic, nationalistic, blame filled, and "certain."

The ideas are all around us. The answers are ours. The problems are of our own making. the solutions are as well. We simply need to get our GREED out of the way.

By the time GREEN ENERGY becomes as profitable as BLACK energy (oil, coal etc..) the damage done to our world will be dangerous for us and for many other life forms.

We used to say, when I was a kid, "Save the Earth." We had save the "Earth"day. But the truth is earth will go on. Life will, in many different forms go on. The question is; "Will we be one of the forms of life that go on?" Even if we do, will we want to live in a world with the quilt and the pain caused by what we have done to the rest of the lifeforms we killed on mass because of our GREED?

The earth is safe. It's Humanity in the best sense of the word that is endangered.

 
To be the Norm or normal is a mathematical concept (I doubt Bill wants to get into that) and has only to do with the probability of any given thing. It is not the norm to be red haired, but for many people it is very natural. It is normal and natural to be a dark haired heterosexual. That does not make any judgment about it. What does "normal" or even "natural" have to do with judging a thing "good" or "bad."

I am so tired of trying to get this simple thought into the minds of the closed minded. Just because a thing is natural, (say a herpes virus) does not make it "good" or even "bad." It is normal to lose your eyesight as you get older. That does not make it necessarily good.

Bill, drop the "it's not normal" or "it goes against nature" argument. It's a false argument. It is only used to hide the real reason you do not want homosexuals to have the freedom to live as they will. You fear. You fear everything. Your fear is so thick I can smell it through electronic media, miles of geography and even through time and space.

How will you and all your little minions live? What if all the simple rules you thought had been written down(in perfect English or at least perfectly translated English) are actually more complicated than you first thought? What if they take interpretation, thought, meditation, self awareness, self examination, and an honest assessment of your own character?

No wonder you're frightened.

I accuse all intelligence, administration,and government officials who attempt to frighten US out of our rights of being enemy combatants and terrorists. They, by word and by deed are attempting to subvert the constitution of the United States government and foster a general feeling of panic and terror among the communities of this country. This is by definition the work of a terrorist and those doing this work must see the evil in their deeds, confess, and stop. If said people are working with others, either in small private groups or in large public ones they should be aware that conspiracy to commit terror is also a crime. Should it be shown that at anytime any official did at anytime use the threat of terror, even without the actual act of terror, in order to further a political agenda they were committing terrorism.

Perhaps, we do not need to re-define privacy. Perhaps we need to re-define terrorist and to look closer to home for the real terrorists. The people who really know how to drive political change through the use and manipulation of terror, and this is the important part, even if they themselves do not intend to cause any physical harm.

The terror users among us do not hide their identity. They hide in plain sight among us every day. Holding press conferences. Putting poison in our children's toys for a larger profit margin, Making record oil profits as both the threat of nuclear war and global warming choke the physical and psychological climate. They have been riding high on the drug of terror.

Please don't get me wrong. The people who actually do throw the bombs and flew those planes were and are terrorists in every sense of the word.

But a new definition must now be added. A new more subtle, yet more extraordinary force of terror. The post terror "terrorists leeches."

The blood sucking, life draining parasites that thrive in the atmosphere of terror. They have stepped over the line from merely basking in the odious afterglow of terror to actually stoking the flames for just "a little while longer" to Capitalize on Terror.
