Please grant me a moment, DUers, to relay some good news for our family.
As many of you know, my husband returned from Iraq in June 2006 after 18 months of deployment. He has been named partially disabled because of a loss of hearing and recurring headaches. He is being treated by the VA. We just got back from signing the papers to close on our new home! The three of us have lived in my ten-year-old single-wide mobile home for the past five years. We now have our very own two-story house! This would not have been possible without a VA loan. Due to his status as a veteran, he was able to secure the loan. We feel incredibly lucky to have our family whole and happy. We move in tomorrow!  |
