As such, he participated in the ( highly treasonous) "october surprise" visits to Madrid and Paris where he and several other Raygun operatives negotiated with Iranian representatives to hold the American hostages in iran until after the elections were held. Later, this was extended to keep the hostages i=until after Raygun was inaugurated on Jan. 20, 1981. This was all documented by Gary Sick in his book "October Surprise" and various other books. The first Pres. Bush may also have taken part int hese negotiations.
