So, I just got back from a trip to Lowe's, and I'm compelled to tell you a quick story about the trip. As I was pulling in to the aisle where I was parking, a small pickup truck pulled in just before me. On the back, adorning the vehicle, were 3 Obama stickers and I couldn't help but notice the veteran's license plate. Being a veteran myself, I felt compelled to say something to the elderly man struggling out of the vehicle and onto the pavement with a small oxygen tank in tow. I smiled at him and said "I like your bumper stickers" and gave him a thumbs up. He smiled a big smile and jabbed a thumbs up in the air enthusiastically.

On the way out, I decided to drive down a couple of aisles to see if we were in the minority. It is, after all, Indiana. The tally - 5 vehicles with Obama bumper stickers. McCain = 0.

I've got a really good feeling about this one, folks. I'm feeling really proud of my state at the moment, I really hope we can pull this one out for Obama. If a frail elderly veteran can feel enthusiastic about politics again after having been through this countless times, do we really have any excuse not to?

Change IS coming. The change we need.
