So, I walked four hours at the tread-desk today and I'm getting used to it. I must say that my back feels MUCH better. Usually by the end of a day at the computer I have all kinds of back aches and pains and am stiff from sitting. Today, not so much. I do think I'm getting a blister on one toe or something, though!
I got a folding bookshelf I have out of storage and added it next to me so I'd have some more space to put stuff.

I like having more room. I may get a tall table rather than a bookshelf since I can't really use it as a bookshelf anyway, I was just using what I had. I also read about someone who does this and has a high barstool to sit on when his feet get tired. Good idea. I tried it out with a barstool from the kitchen by just putting the stool on top of the treadmill and it worked fine. I may get a slightly taller one with a back.
The little furry demon approves of the "standing still" configuration, haha:

I think I'm going to wait until the "Air Desk" I ordered gets here before I buy anything else, though-- I want to see how that will work and if I like it. I'm a little put out at those folks, actually, because I didn't even get a confirmation email when I placed my order. I think I'm going to call them tomorrow and see if they actually got it. If they didn't, that's OK by me because I'm beginning to think I could improvise a solution much more cheaply. Anyway, other than that, so far so good!
