Arlen Specter (R-PA), a vote has been postponed on “contempt resolutions against White House Chief of Staff Josh Bolten and former presidential political guru Karl Rove for failing to respond to subpoenas” regarding the U.S. attorney scandal. Specter, who asked Chairman Patrick Leahy (D-VT) for a chance to “revise the draft resoltions, warned that the whole matter could end in federal court.”

Dear Madam Speaker Pelosi:

Any elected senator or congressman who takes the oath of office, swears to uphold the Constitution of the United States of America. In my opinion, and the opinion of countless other americans, including constitutional scholars, that means it is their duty to impeach not only Vice President Cheney, but also President Bush, for crimes committed since they have taken office.

It is illegal to lead America into a war under false pretences, and this has been proven to be the case. Any President or Vice President who knowingly breaks the laws of the Constitution must be impeached. If we do not impeach them, then our Constitution has become just another piece of paper.

for President Eisenhower in the last few years. I never really studied him because he was a Republican and was slightly before my time. He doesn't have a chance in winning with the media so focused on the top three candidates. I found the support they have from the pharms and insurance companies very disturbing. I am going to email all three and ask them why they are taking money from them when those industries are so busy ripping off the American people. I listened to some republicans calling in on Cspan this evening and it seems the tide is turning. After tonights debate there were as many pubs against *ush as there were for. It suprised me. We need more people in office like Debra. Honest, hard working and patriotic.

Not to be judgemental but I really don't like this post or the question. We will forever be apart as Americans unless we can somehow rise above and come together. I know the past few years have been horendous and the republican party has gone to hell with dishonesty and shameful behavior, but the majority of the people who follow them are in the dark about whats going on. Most of them are used to being led around by the noses. We need to keep fighting to get the word out and to demand accountability from government. I can see it happening all around us now. It's like the damn is just so close to bursting. More and more news outlets are starting to report on more than just right wing talking points. I know Fox and CNN are probably lost causes but look at whats been happening at MSNBC.

I hope you are wrong and they don't wish anything of the sort. Maybe I'm naive but in order for this country to survive, we need to be united. Maybe thats wishful thinking but more and more people are waking up to the fact that we have all been lied to and used. My wish is that one day *ush will wake up and find himself alone.

They actually believe that every religion has values. That people actually have the right to worship whosover they choose. That peace is always better than war. I have signed so many petitions, I've lost tract. I hope this gains momentum. If it does it will reach the MSM and they'll have to acknowledge it. I am going to email other networks and ask them to report on it.

I wonder what happens to unused ballots? Maybe they should be preserved in future elections also. If there is suspicion that punchcards were punched prior to an election, you could then go to the unused cards to check them for tampering.
