Well, it was funny to me. Mrs. Deadmessengers and I are having a little returns-watching party at the house tonight, and I was over at the store stocking up on snacky-party-type things - chips, dip, salsa, a few frozen fingerfood things, some soda. A guy standing on line behind me says to me - "Having a little victory party for McCain tonight, are you?"
I looked at him, thought about it for a second or two, smiled, and said - "Everyone needs hope, right?" Subtle snark really is the most satisfying, I tell ya...  |
