When I was in elementary school our country faced a crisis similar to the one we face today. We were at war with a country for no reason that would benefit their country or ours. My oldest brother was over there in that pointless war. He was called up on December 16, 1966. Yeah, happy fucking Christmas, we're taking your boy, your beloved son, brother to fight in our fucking pointless war.

My brother went. That's what people in my family did. My grandmother, though bought him a small handgun. "In this war, you don't know who your friends are or who your enemies are".

Another thing my grandmother did was to contact our local Congressmen, Broyhill, and tell him that my brother had a great talent working with electronics and shouldn't be on the front line.

My brother was spared the front line because of this.

I loved my grandmother so much.

I have tormented my state Delegates, and Congressmen with letters ever since.

And I'm out in the streets protesting! You have a protest march near me, count me in, baby.
